Review Body: My wife and I spent a few hours learning how to surf with Chandra. This has been one of the highlights of our trip thanks to a friendly, professional teacher helping us every step of the way. Chandra has been excellent from the outset, offering transparent fair prices and an accurate description of what we would be getting. After 10 minutes of on the ground training, showing us the beginner moves, we went straight to the water with Chandra who helped us get acclimated to the board and the waves. Chandra corrected our moves and postures and held the board to put us in the easiest/best position to get a wave. Once we became more confortable, he invited us to be a bit more autonomous while kepping an eye on us. Chandra has been ver friendly, pedagogical and helpful during the entire process. It was a great pleasure to meet him and learn to surf with him. Had we had more time, we would definitely have subscribed to one of his several days packages where you can mix learning how to surf and tanning on his sun beds for a few days. I'll note that Chandra was also cheaper than the nearest competition and very well located if you want to learn how to surf (I tried the next day by myself in another location with bigger wavew... let's say it was not ideal...). Very much recommended if you want to spend a couple hours learning how to surf having fun or for a few days if you are more serious about it.

Review Body: It's my first time surfing in Legian. I had no idea about the surfing school here which will be the best choice. I went to other schools to learn my first and second surf lessons. I had to change again and luckily I found Chandra's, the website which provides complete and clear information about the lesson! And of course I saw the picture analysis they have made for students (in order that you can see your position and adjust yourself to be a better surfer) and it's included in the course! You don't need to pay extra to get all the picture after the course. Also they provide the very great and sweet moment of sunset photos with reasonable price. About the surfing lesson, Johnny was my instructor. He himself, is a experienced surfer and professional. They treat customer as a friend and always give the best! You will get the intensive care for your surfing lesson for sure (I had 1 by 1 teaching). If you come with the group, you might get 1 instructor/2 students. I wish I'd have found Chandra's surfing school sooner. So I'd love to take the lesson with them everyday of my stay in Legian, Bali. I'm sure to recommend this school and service to all my friends and family. And I'll come back to have fun with them again for the next travel. Thank you Chandra and Johnny for your great welcome. Review Body: I decided to give some surf lessons to my 7 years old son last week in Bali. I met Johnny from Chandra’s team on the beach of our hotel. My son had no experience and we were a bit concerned about the security looking at the waves and about how long our son will do it before to give up (not being very patient usually). Johnny made us more confortable very quickly by suggesting us to come back 2h later as waves would be smaller and he moved a bit further along the beach to make it easier for my young son (less waves in this area too). I initially booked for 1h just to try but I extended to 2h as our son didn’t want to stop really enjoying and standing up very quickly thanks to clear instructions and encouragements from the coach. My son enjoyed so much that we booked another 2h session the following day with the same great experience. My son enjoyed so much that I decided to give also a try. Even if I have not been as good as him, it confirmed to me the instructor was really good and patient. Very good time there thanks to Chandra’s team. I can only recommend!

Review Body: *You won't regret and will come back again and again! We went to Chandra's place every day to enjoy sun (under umbrella and spf), ocean and so friendly atmosphere! Felt very welcomed, so cozy to stay there! And surfing.. Tried so many times before and felt hopeless to stand up on the board, but here - with professional instructor Antonio, right attitude and some Bali magic - i did it on the first wave! Oh my God, now i know how happiness feels :) And amazing surf pictures - one of the best highlights of aaall trip, loved it! Chandra and guys are very helpful with travel tips and problem solving, so it was like having local friends, 100% trustful and kind, funny, open hearted people! Was so curious about everything and Chandra answered all questions about Bali culture, people and most beautiful places (well, now i have to-do list for my next visits..). I highly recommend you to go straight to Chandra's Sunbeds and Surfing to felt in love with Bali more and more.

Review Body: Chanced upon Chandra’s surf school when I was online looking for an instructor for my 15 year old daughter. You could whats app him directly to make an appointment so it was really convenient. She enjoyed the lesson so much and he gave her valuable tips which enabled her to get on the board quite quickly and confidently. We went back 2 days later even though we were staying all the way at Ubud. She wanted another lesson even though Chandra thought she didn’t need it. I liked how they’re honest with you and didn’t push you to take more lessons. In fact, he said all she needed was to rent the board and practice. Overall Chandra and Johnny are really good instructors who are friendly and efficient too. They even provided really great photos of you surfing all taken with a DSLR. Highly recommended! We can’t wait to go back again soon! BN

Review Body: To be honest I wanted at the beginning to book the surfing school near by. While zooming on google Maps found this super perfect spot! If you are searching for some friends feeling private coaches instead of boring group courses this is the place! Antonius, Dady and Chandra are just the nicest and coolest Indonesien friends! The price was reasonable, the course itself was perfect, got pics from them not costing extra anything. I stayed afterwards for quite a while and we chatted about surfing, life, everything and watched the sunset together! Got the amazing pics as well from Dady! Saying that he can not leave lady alone they even offered me a ride back home, I would say the best part is not just surfing anymore but to have knowing these nice guys! I can definitely just recommend!

Review Body: Chandra, Johnny and Eddie are such incredible team. I contacted Chandra because I wanted to learn surfing definitely and he replied immediately. I had tried before but individual lessons with Johnny were completely different. They are very focus on technique and give you advice every time to improve. After my experience my wife took lessons with Chandras and her experience was as good as mine. Chandra is a great photographer and took many pictures of us surfing with no charge. We are now surfing in our own around Bali and it’s thanks to them. I would recommend everyone visiting Legian to contact and visit Chandra’s place for surfing or sun bed service. They are very professional,honest and friendly creating a nice community around. They organize beach football match every day :)

Review Body: We took surfing lessons as a couple and got 1 teacher per 2 persons for 1h + 1h without teacher + photos, all for 350k. They also provide long sleve t-shirt so the board does not scratch you. Our instructor was kind and explained everything before we went in the water. It was our 2nd time surfing in Bali so we had no problem standing up on the board. Twords the end he let us try everything on our own and only corrected us when we did something wrong. This was really the best way to learn for us. At the end they sent us pictures taken by a professional photographer with a DSLR camera. Just for that reason it was worth comming here. We really recomend you start your first surfing steps with them.

Review Body: Can’t recommend these guys enough ! Great instructors from learning on the beach to getting us standing up on the board the 2nd wave we had! We thought the price was ace no need to haggle as your already getting a lot for your money! After the lesson we were able to take the boards back out alone for FREE even then the instructor gave us brilliant advice on where to go and which wave to take! Once we finished surfing we went back to the instructor who was super attentive asking us if we want any food or drink, later bringing us the drinks we had requested, have 2 weeks left on Bali and will sure be revisiting Chandra for some more surfing !!

Review Body: Took the surfing class with my girlfriend while we were staying in Kuta. We had Johnny as an instructor and learned great tips that helped us stand up on the surfboards even though it was our first time surfing. The first hour is spent with Johnny learning how to surf (mostly by doing it and having him give pointers) and the second hour is Johnny taking pictures for us to take home. After the two hour lesson, they even offered to let us have the boards for an extra hour. Would highly recommend this to any beginner who is interested in trying to surf!

Review Body: Had a 2 hour surf lesson with Antonio. It was a really good experience and I got more feedback and tips today than on my entire week with another well-known surf company! They took photos at the beach and after 1 hour we took a break and I could look at the photos seeing what I did wrong and got the chance to improve it the next hour! I have nothing to complain about, everybody at Chandras are really nice and helpful. The prices are really cheap as well! I would definitely recommend this place and looking forward to comeback again! :)

Review Body: We were recommended by my sister to use Chandra for surfing lessons and I will never use anyone else from now on. Chandra is patient, attentive and informative with our two girls aged 7and 9. I cannot recommend him highly enough!! Nor can I speak highly enough of his photographer. His skills are on point AND Chandra airdropped me ALL of the images he took straight away. Thank you Chandra, for a wonderful first time experience for my girls and surfing. Cannot wait to come back next year and see you all again :)

Two days later I had my Surfing lessons with Johnny. Great guy, good teacher, takes time for you and it is also nice to chat with him after the lesson. I also got pictures after the lesson. Leaned lots, got in what felt like 100s of waves and every time he had some positive comments or corrections. We all had so much fun that we ended up going back two more days to rent both surf boards and boogie boards. The equipment was all in good shape and the guys were very accommodating and knowledgable. Eventhough the waves were quite big, it was fun to try surfing. Dedy helped us paddeling and pushed us through the waves. And the cost is cheaper than other surf shops in double six beach. we didn’t take the extra one hour free board rental after the two-hour sessions coz it was tiring from our Mt Batur tour.
