 The property essentially fronts the beach with a restaurant at the front. They make a tasty little burger that came with, my favourite, crinkle-cut-chips. There were also fresh juices (no syrup). I'd recommend the, not standard, cap cay. The rooms, being fairly new, are clean and in good condition. The hot water works. The area is quiet with the sound of the surf being the main back drop. Driving there my rental car blew a head gasket. The property manager, Pak Agung, got a mechanic out for me. He took the car and had it fixed the next afternoon. It was a Sunday when he took the car so we stayed an extra day. Pak Agung gave us a late checkout while we waited for the car. As far as getting there from say the airport, I'd seriously suggest having a driver. I'm very experienced in riding/driving in Indonesia (it's where I live) and I wouldn't recommend it unless you are too. The road carries all the truck and bus traffic coming in and out of Bali, from Java. It's an uncomfortable drive no matter what. If you want to go somewhere relaxing that hasn't gone full retard hipster, this area is alright.

The staff is super friendly, rooms are perfectly clean with aircon. , beautiful beach for surfing direct in the front of the accomandation as well as very good and cheap food and if you need something you just tell the stuff also reachable via WhatsApp, super convenient. I will definitively come back :)

Liked · Quiet, peaceful, clean spacious new room with cold AC and very hot water. You can’t get all of that right on the beach for such a low price. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the good value of Emir. The property is off the main road and on the beach, so it is quiet, compared to other properties in the area. 10 minute walk to the main surf break but there is a smaller beginner break right in front.
 3 cheap beach warungs are available for breakfast lunch and dinner within a 1 minute walk of Emir.
 The general manager, Mr. Agung, went above and beyond for us. He brought me packing tape and boxes from his personal home when I needed help cramming my fragile ceramic souvenirs into my luggage. That kind man deserves a raise. He can also arrange for surf lessons, scooter rental and anything else you may desire at the going rate, without inflation.
 If we come back to Medewi beach to surf, we will absolutely stay in this off the main drag hotel to get a good nights sleep and a real hot shower with freshwater.
 They cater to the vacationing surfer and it shows. Guests stay for weeks and months at a time at this low price.

Disliked · The only thing that could use improving is that our room smelled of mothballs because there were mothballs placed in the shower. This seems to be a common thing on Bali to put mothballs in the bathrooms to keep bugs away. I thought they smelled bad. To other people, it probably just smells like clean. I’m sure if I had thought of it, I could have just taken them outside for the duration of our stay.

They have storage for surfboards as well and they rent scooters. It’s just 6 months old so everything is new. In front of the camp is a Warung with beautiful views and nice breakfast and lunch.

My whole experience at the Emir surf camp was amazing. The spot is right on the beach and their is always a friendly staff member there to help you with anything you might need. The rooms are spacious and tidy with good air conditioning. The manager Agoon also picked me up in Canggu and also took me to Ubud after my checkout for a very good rate. I highly recommend this place and will be staying there again the next time I come back to Bali.

Disliked · The beach out the front is perfect for beginner surfers but if you are more experienced you will probably prefer to get a lift to bigger surf at the point only a few minutes by motorbike away.

Nice Welcome, pretty Bungalows with enough space inside. very Close to a fabulous surfspot!
 Unfortunately the walls are very thin, therefore you hear the neighbors talk. No reck in the bathroom for anything.
