Review Body: This surf school is absolutely the best! We tried others but they did not come close to this one. The teachers are wonderful and Blackie is an absolute stand out (so ask for him!) My kids just loved him (daughters aged 6 and 9)! He had them standing up straight away and he was great fun. His English is excellent as well which made everything really easy. He also took us down to Ulu Watu for the Kecak dance so if you want to do any trips just email him at the surf school. This is the review from my 9 year old daughter below. Book this school. You’ll have an AWESOME time! If I could give this a better rating than five I would give it a million. I loved it. The teachers were so nice encouraging and I think just great. I really love surfing now just because of three days at this surf school. This company has so many nice instructors. And one of the instructors is Blackie he was a really amazing surfer and just great. Every time I fell off the board he told me what I was doing wrong. He is patient,fun,cool and funny thank you so much Blackie and Dika.

Review Body: I would highly recommend Rezha surf school in Bali. Our driver Blacky is also one of the instructors at this school, picked us up from the hotel at 8 am for a 9am surf, and we were out in the water for about 2hours. Our family of 6 including 2 kids, each had our own instructor so it was comforting to know we could all enjoy the day without watching if the kids were ok. And boy did they have a blast!! None of us had ever surfed before and with the instructors help we all stood up! We couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces! They were so patient and helpful when trying to stand up.They made us feel comfortable and for myself who actually is sort of scared of the sea, I felt safe and had way too much fun to care. It was honestly the best day we had in Bali. A fantastic affordable family fun day to add to the memory bank. Only regret is that we forgot the go pro! Thankfully the crew took some action shots and sent them to me :) Thank you for this incredible memory and looking after my family x

Review Body: We’ve had five lessons with our family (the kids are 4, 6 and 8 years old) at Rezha Surf School. It was the first time for all of us on a surf board. They were extremely friendly, joyful and professional. Our kids were embraced in a playful manner making it lots of fun for them. They managed to ride a couple of waves all the way to the beach in their first lessons. This also due to the skilled everyday of the exact time when to do the lessons so the waves would be just perfect for us. All in all a fantastic experience! We had surf lessons in Canggu as well a week later but decided to move back to Jimbaran to take lessons with Rezha again as the gap in attention, playfulness and exposure to the waves was unmatched at Rezha. Thanks guys for making our first experience a very memorable one and mostly because we’re all addicted now!

Review Body: Myself and my husband had a surf lesson about 16 years ago in Hawaii, our son, aged 12 has never surfed so we were real beginners. Rezha surf school picked us up at our hotel and took us to a beach and down the coast as the waves were better than in Jimbaran on that day. They provided us with rash vests to wear. Great experience from start to finish, at the end of the lesson all three of us I managed to stand up and surf some waves. What a great experience would highly recommend learning to surf and certainly recommend using Rezha surf school. Useful tip: Don’t forget to reapply sunscreen mid lesson, all 3 of us had slightly red legs at the end of the lesson due to the time spent in the water and with the backs of our legs facing the sun ️

Review Body: We booked the semi private lesson for 2 hours by emailing them. They were quick to respond and suggested the best time for us to enjoy the waves the following day. We had Blackie as our instructor and he was fantastic. His English is brilliant and he explained everything so well. He made sure to pay equal attention to us both and showed good awareness of safety while we were in the water. We had a nice break and chat with some coconut water while we caught our breathe midway through. We also felt confident that our belongings were looked after while we were surfing. Overall we had a great lesson and both improved greatly seeing as it was our first time surfing. We would definitely recommend this surf school!

Review Body: I didn't think I could make it but I did stand up and surf after a few attempts under Nyoman's instructions. It was my lucky day to have Nyoman as instructor who was very patient. Not that he would gave me advice to improve after each attempt, Nyoman would also wait for the most suitable waves for my beginner surf. I could tell that he and the other instructors are all very good and connected well with the students. The experience was rewarding and fun. While I was taking a break on the beach after tbe first hour, I saw students who must have already taken lessons on the previous days and came back for more. Highly recommended! Must try.

Review Body: All 5 of our kids were standing up within the first 5 minutes. The perfect place to learn no matter what your age. The guys at Rezha surf school we so encouraging and positive. We were lucky enough to be staying in Jimbaran so the school was on our doorstep but I would recommend these guys to anyone - if I were staying in Kuta, Legian or Seminyak it would be worth the journey as it is not at all crowded. Not only did Blacky and crew teach the kids surf they also entertained them out on the water! They have had 2 lessons so far and will be back for their third lesson tomorrow.

Review Body: Being total beginners, my wife and I took a lesson with Rezha Surf School in front of Jimbaran beach. Our instructor Dingo was at the same time highly professionnal and super friendly. Thanks to his advices, we were getting up on the board in no time ! Dingo was able to give confidence to my wife who was a bit scared at the begining of the session. We would definitely recommand this surf school for beginner and intermediate riders, as they can take you to another spot with the boat. Many thanks for this "bagouz" (super) day !!! Review Body: We used Rezha for our family surf lesson for my Dads 60th birthday. Blackie and the team (Special shout out to Buld and Bobby) made everything so fun and exciting. Their enthusiasm was infectious, it did not feel like they did this day in day out - it felt like we were the most important people in the world! They were patient when we fell off, and extastic when we got up on our boards! Would highly recommend and defs worth the 35K IDR price. One hour is enough if you aren’t the fittest - surfing certainly takes your breath away!

Review Body: We booked the semi-private lession for two hours with a short break (including a complimentary water). It was perfect for us as we had been beginners. Our Surf instructor bobby (a local with 35 years surf experience) told us step by step how to catch a wave. In the meantime one of us was paddling out and the other one was catching a wave by good instruction from the instructor. It makes a lot of fun and the waves aren’t to big for start surfing. Awesome school. Awesome instructor - absolutely recommended. Stay tuned!

Review Body: Thanks so much to the team at Rezah surf for providing such excellent service and instruction to my 6 year old son. They advised the best time of day for his lessons and very sensibly said that 1 hour would be enough! (Boy were they right, second go, he was knackered after 20mins!) Both days though they got him standing and riding waves. I was 100% sure he was safe at all times and when he was too tired, there was no issue switching to a boggy board instead. An amazing experience for a small person!

Review Body: Always wanted to learn how to surf and today it was time and that also on Bali in Jimbaran at Rezha surf school. It seems easier than it is, but with two hours of enthusiastic instructor lessons (name forgot :-() I stayed on board with my 46 years and a hundred kilos. They give clear instructions so that you quickly understand what to do. If there are still waves tomorrow I will rent another board and try what I have learned on my own. Well done guys! Keep up the good work!

Review Body: Me and my cousins visited the surf school today. We had a prompt 9am pickup as planned and were taken to Jimbaran Bay. We both ad our own instructors and by the end of it we could easily stand up and even turn left and right to 'ride the wave'. Was great fun! Jimbaran bay is perfect for beginners. We could not have achieved this without our instructors. Both of ours were calm, safe and gave excellent advice. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone!

Review Body: My family of four had semi-private lessons (1 instructor to 2 people) a few days ago. We had the best time! The conditions at Jimbaran were perfect for beginners and helped build our confidence. Instructors were super nice! We had free pick up and drop off from our hotel. We could rest when we wanted to or just keep on surfing, also included a coconut or water. It was a perfect way to spend 2 hours in the morning! Highly recommend.

Review Body: I had surfed before but my wife hadn't. Big Joe had my wife surfing on her third wave and managed to get rid of some of my self taught bad habits shortly after that. From the time we were picked up at our resort, until we were safely returned, we had a great time. Take bathers, sun screen, water and snacks (if you want).. they supply rashie and foam board. Big thanks to Blackie and Joe for their hospitality.

Review Body: The guys here are really friendly and helpful. I had a one on one lesson and they give you a crash course in how to get up on the board before taking you out to see. They hold the board and assist you in catching the wave which is great for beginners who want to enjoy the Bali waves. I've surfed a few times in England but wouldn't have been able to manage on my own here. Would definitely recommend :)

Review Body: The Rezha Surf School on Jimbaran Beach is a very good place for beginners to learn surfing. Apart from good instructions, the size of the waves at Jimbaran Bay also make it ideal for beginners. My 11 year old son with an hour of instructions in the morning enjoyed himself and at the end of the lesson was actually able to surf quiet a few times without dunking in the water.

Review Body: Me and my girlfriend was picked up at our hotel before the lesson and we also got free water while we were surfing. Already at the second attempt we managed to stand up. We both had our own instructors who was kind, patient and professional. All the best to this surf school, really recommend it. PS: two hours is more than enough, its exhausting for the neck and arms!

Review Body: Great surf school. My son and husband took one to one lessons. Instructors were fantastic, giving them the best advice but also making it fun. My husband (Magus) rode his first wave with them. My son is a bit more experienced but they taught him more techniques and got some fantastic photos. Definitely recommend them and will use their services again when we return.

Review Body: I stayed in Jimbaran sometime last year and got the chance to learn how to surf though Rezha Surf School. It was my first time ever to surf. Blacky and his team taught me over the course of two days. I learned a lot and after that and I had a bit more confidence on surfing on my own.
