Meet your host
Achariyar and Araya Rojanapirom are the brother-sister duo behind Kalm Village in Chiang Mai, a space shaped by their childhood in a traditional Thai home just outside Bangkok. With both parents as architects, they grew up surrounded by thoughtful design and handmade details—especially Thai textiles, which their mum collected for over 30 years. That same love for craft and culture now lives on in Kalm Village. From reclaimed teak buildings to community-led workshops and exhibitions, everything reflects their quiet commitment to preserving Thai heritage. They work hand-in-hand with local artisans, not just to showcase their work but to help keep traditional skills alive. It’s a warm, welcoming place built on care—for people, culture, and the planet.
