See the real Ha Giang away from the usual tourist route + join a spring festival
[1 SPOT LEFT: 28 Feb - 5 Mar 2026]If you’ve heard of the Ha Giang Motorbike Loop, you probably know how crowded and touristy it can get - everyone follows the same route and spots. But this 6D5N Seek Sophie Community Trip is different. We want to show you the real Ha Giang that few travellers ever get to see!We curated our own top-secret Ha Giang route that you won’t find anywhere else! It takes you to our favourite hidden campsite, where you’ll wake up to some of the most beautiful mountain valley views we've ever seen. And a core memory that we still remember till this day: being the only ones kayaking down the river while seeing packed tourist boats pass us by.And we planned this Seek Sophie Community Trip in time with Vietnam's most beautiful season - spring! That's when the flowers are blooming and the landscape is the prettiest. You'll even get a chance to join an annual local spring festival just outside of Hanoi, where there's folk singing, wrestling - a chance to see a side of Vietnam that most people never see.One-Off Trip in 2026This Seek Sophie Ha Giang Community Trip is happening only once in 2026 [28 Feb to 5 Mar] because we've timed it perfectly for spring. We’re keeping it small at just 10 participants, so it stays personal and intimate, and for you to connect with other like-minded travellers in the group. Why We Created Community TripsWe created Community Trips because we’re always on the ground meeting cool people & finding hidden spots. So we thought: why not use all that insider knowledge to create the dream trip we’d take our own friends on? Think of Community Trips as a Seek Sophie omakase. We get to go a little wild with our ideas, bring you to places that aren’t usually open to the public, add the thoughtful touches we’ve always dreamt of, and make it feel really special for you. Every trip also gives back, so your adventure makes a direct impact on the communities and ecosystems you visit. What Makes This Seek Sophie Community Trip Special?1. The Real Ha GiangThis isn’t the usual touristy Ha Giang Loop. We’ve curated a secret route that takes you through North Vietnam’s incredible landscapes and winding mountain passes where you’ll visit hidden campsites, be the only ones kayaking along the Nho Que river, visit Hmong villages, cook with locals and even join a Khen music session.2. Connect with the CommunityWe wanted this trip to be more than just views. We wanted it to be meaningful as well and give back to the local community. So we added stops where you can get to know the locals more - like visiting Hmong villages that most travellers never see, cooking with the locals, and spending time with kids, where your visit directly supports their school and community. A portion of your booking also goes directly to supporting a local school and village artisans. In Hanoi, you'll meet one of the last families who still make tofu by hand at 5am in the morning.3. The Most Beautiful Time To GoWe’ve timed this specially for early March - that's when North Vietnam is its prettiest, when the peach and apricot flowers are in bloom! It’s also the first lunar month and spring festival season, so you’ll catch the Lim Festival just outside Hanoi, where you'll see Quan ho folk songs, wrestling, and a side of Vietnam that most people haven't seen before.4. Adventure Without the StressYou'll be joined by a dedicated Seek Sophie team member and expert local guides. We'll take care of the transfers, accommodation, and most meals, so you can just focus on being present. Plus, you’ll have a dedicated rider, which means you don’t need to ride the motorbike yourself - just sit back and take in the views!Accommodations (5 nights provided)All rooms are shared.
