Today you will visit Lovers' Leap waterfall and visit a tea plantation and factory
- 08:30 am - Head out to explore the countryside
- 09:00 am - Start your tuk-tuk ride in the town of Nuwara Eliya which is also called as Little England as it enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. The driver will take you to witness an impressive waterfall – Lovers' Leap. As the story goes that, this place is where an ancient prince and his lover leapt to their death. But now this has become a perfect attraction of nature lovers and photographers. From there you will head to Gregory lake where you will enjoy the lush scenery and be cooled by a fresh mountain breeze. Afterwards, you will be taken to visit a take tea plantation and a tea factory which nestled in the green hills to sample some of Ceylon’s finest. This will give you an opportunity to know how the tea workers’ life and share their knowledge of tea plucking & and tea production.
- 12:30 pm - Now having explored the hill county treasures, you will head back to your hotel.
