Take a 3.5 hour drive through the Red River Delta to the wharf of Halong Bay. 
12:00 – 12:15 Check in to your room. Cruise out to the bay. Sit back on the boat restaurant or the sundeck to relax as Vega cruises past the hundreds of islands and islets of Bai Tu Long Bay area that is lesser travelled by tourist and well-known for its magnificent seascapes Enjoy freshly prepared lunch served by Vega’s boat staffs. The cruise will make a right turn to a less-visited area where you will enjoy kayaking, exploring the peaceful beauty of Halong Bay. Paddle in the 2-person kayak through the narrow lanes of limestone mountains and karsts being broken by wind and time. 
15:00 Visit Trong Cave (Drum cave) and Trinh Nu (Virgin Cave). You can take a dip in the emerald waters. 
19:00 Anchor in a tranquil lagoon among Bai Tu Long Bay, Ha Long bay for dinner and a peaceful night.

Today you will cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay, kayak in hidden lagoons and visit Trong Cave (Drum cave) and Trinh Nu (Virgin Cave)

Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay - Ha Long bay

7:00 Early Breakfast on the boat 
8:00 Visit the most beautiful cave of the bay called Hang Sung Sot ( the Surprising cave) 
9:00 Walk up 340 constructed terraced steps to the top of Titop Island for a 360-degree amazing view of Ha Long Bay. Walk down to Titop beach, a naturally formed sand beach, for a refreshing dip in the bay. 
10:00 Transfer to a small junk that will bring you to Cat Ba National Park. The boat will stop at Viet Hai Dock. You will then cycle for 30 minutes to Viet Hai Village, explore the countryside of the island. From the village, trek for 1.5 hours; discover the tropical forest and the national biosphere of Cat Ba. You will feel rewarded as soon as you get to the viewpoint on top of the hill.
13:00 Lunch on the junk boat.
15:00 Free time to kayak around, visit the floating villages and swim if you wish to.
16:00 Watch sunset over the bay.
17:00 You will be transferred to the hotel in Cat Ba Island. 
Overnight in Hung Long Hotel.

Today you will hike up to Titop Island, cycle in Viet Hai Village and trek to a cave in Cat Ba National Park.

Halong Bay - Cat Ba Island

7:00 Early buffet breakfast in the hotel. 
After breakfast, you will take a small boat back to Vega Cruise.
9:00 Continue cruising along Halong Bay. Spot the Dog stone, Fighting Cock islet, the Couple islet and local fish farms. If time and tide permit, you will stop for a while in a peaceful place for relaxation on the boat deck. 
11:00 Enjoy brunch before packing up to leave. 
11:45 -12:00 Disembark and take a land trip back to Hanoi.

Cat Ba Island - Halong Bay - Hanoi

You will cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay that is lesser-known by travellers but offers magnificent seascapes. This is a great escape from the crowd as you will kayak through the narrow lanes of limestone karsts in a hidden area, see the ancient stalactites in Trong Cave (Drum cave) and Trinh Nu (Virgin Cave). On the second day, you will be transferred by a small boat to Cat Ba Island and indulge in its wilderness: trekking to a cave plus cycling in Viet Hai Village. Lastly, visit the highlights in Halong Bay - Titop Island and Sung Sot Cave on the 3rd day. Vega Cruise's Chef prepares authentic Vietnamese cuisine onboard and he's able to cater to vegetarians and other dietary requirements too.
