Review Body: I've had the incredible opportunity to travel with them twice, and both experiences were absolutely unforgettable! My first trip to Bali in 2022 was a freediving adventure that turned into so much more. I not only had the chance to explore the stunning underwater world but also met some amazing people who quickly became like family.
The second trip to Thailand in 2023 was just as incredible. Freediving in the Surin and Similan Islands was a dream come true, and the team made sure everything was perfect. From the accommodations to the freediving excursions, they went above and beyond to ensure a truly memorable experience. We also had the opportunity to visit the Moken village. Their deep connection to the ocean and their sustainable way of life profoundly inspired the founders.
If you're looking for a travel company that truly cares about their clients and provides unforgettable adventures, I highly recommend them. They're more than just a travel agency, they're a family. Much love to Isa and Tommy! Can’t wait to go on another Suntan adventure with them again!

Review Body: We joined the overnight tour to the Surin Islands, and it was a truly memorable experience. The team was welcoming and made sure everything went smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the islands.
The snorkeling was some of the best I’ve ever experienced, with crystal-clear waters and an incredible variety of marine life. Visiting the Moken village was another highlight—we learned about their unique culture and met some truly lovely locals.
Spending the night in a tent on the beach was a simple but unforgettable experience, and we were lucky to share these two days with a wonderful group of people who made it even more special.
Thank you for this incredible experience. Highly recommended to anyone looking for something authentic and unforgettable.

Review Body: I went on a day trip to Surin Islands with Tommy and Isawan. Included was the speed boat, a longtail boat that picked me up from the speedboat and underwater video and picture service. It was truly the most beautiful solo travelling experience I had!!! We went to two freediving and snorkeling spots and in between we had lunch in the national park. I also got the chance to visit the Moken-Village, those are the inhabitants of the Islands. The staff is very friendly and does everything to make your experience unforgettable!! Even when the sun doesn't shine, the waters are still so clear and blue and i saw a variety of fish and corals. I look forward to go on many more trips withthem, next I plan to do the overnight Trip and sleep in a tent on one of the islands.

Review Body: I’ve had amazing experiences with Tommy in Surin island and Khao Lak. I’ve been afraid deep water all my life and was panicking a little my first time snorkeling and freediving. Within a couple hours I was more and more comfortable in the water with the help of Tommy. And the second time in Surin was not afraid at all. Surin is the best and most beautiful place in Thailand and you get most out your experience with Isa and Tommy as your guides. They make you feel so welcome. Khao Lak is also amazing if you are interested in surfing, bamboo rafting, seeing elephants, enjoying delicious thai food etc. and Tommy is the best connection for you to get to experience these things from a local’s perspective.

Review Body: Thank you so much for the great tour!! This is my first time to have free diving in the sea and all the staffs are very nice and helpful! They are all very professional and gave us a lots of advices on how to do a better dive and look good in the pictures. The pictures were all so stunning! We went to few different diving points and all of them were very beautiful, full of corals and lovely sea creatures. This wonderful experience makes me enjoy free diving, I definitely recommend people to enjoy the the diving with them. And I will come to Phuket with Tommy and Isawan again next time!

Review Body: I did multiple trips with them while living in Thailand and they were all great! They offer small group trips to Surin and Similan islands as well as day trips to Khao Lak and Krabi. The trips are cosy, always filled with good food and for me were the best way of exploring the country with the locals who genuinely love being out there in the ocean. If you are not a big fan of the usual mass touristy trips in Thailand, I highly recommend Suntan trips. It was also with them that I tried freediving for the first time and fell in love with the sport. All in all, highly recommended.

Review Body: Isa and Tommy are wonderful hosts and guides, and we have a great time everytime we visit Khao Lak and Surin Island. The freediving trips are very well planned and executed, they have their own private long tail boats that bring us to all the wonderful dive spots around the islands.
Accommodation is really good and clean in Surin Island even though it is a camp site, but there is a restaurant and clean showers on the island.
We go back multiple times a year and will continue to do so. See you guys in December!

Review Body: Joined the tour last February, and I LOVED IT! The team is friendly, fun, and helpful. My first trip was to Surin, then I went back to visit them again at Similan Island. If you’re planning to visit, please make sure you spend a few days on Surin Island—it’s the most relaxing and fun trip! The island is clean, and the water clarity is top-notch! Thank you for the best experience! I will definitely visit again.

Review Body: It was just the two of us and Tommy our guide was fun and easy going. The Thai food was delicious. He looked after us well whilst snorkeling. He took us to a stunning deserted beach to swim and relax. The team operating our long tail boat were great and ample watermelon provided was perfect. Some fabulous GoPro footage taken for us to remember our trip.

Meet your host
Isawan and Tommy are a couple with a deep love for the sea and a strong commitment to the Moken community. After volunteering in the wake of the 2004 tsunami, Tommy stayed in Khao Lak, learning the Andaman islands like the back of his hand. Years later, Isawan joined him, bringing her creative skills as a designer. Together, they work closely with Moken families to craft handmade goods, run thoughtful workshops, and transform marine debris into useful items. They also organize snorkeling and freediving trips, hiring Moken people as captains and crew, which provides income while sharing the islands’ beauty and local knowledge. What started with just two households now involves much of the village, all while keeping traditions alive and giving travelers a deeper, more authentic island experience.
