Hidden on the edge of Khao Sok National Park, this eco-lodge sits on land that used to be an oil palm plantation, now slowly rewilded into rainforest again. You’ll wake up to wildlife calls, eat home-cooked meals made by locals, and fall asleep surrounded by rainforest that’s come back to life.At the heart of the lodge is a cozy open-air restaurant and bar overlooking lush green hills and jungle. You might spot birds, lizards, and monkeys while you eat, with the sounds of the forest in the background. The food is simple, local, and full of heart — fragrant curries, fresh herbs, and homemade flavours that taste like someone’s family recipe, made from produce grown in the garden or sourced from nearby farms.Rooms are built with nature in mind, with views of the gardens and forest. Hey there! I'm Willem, and I run a cozy eco-retreat nestled on the edge of Khao Sok National Park in Thailand. We take our sustainability seriously from the very start. We chose the location of this lodge with the goal of returning an acre of land formerly used by a palm oil plantation, to indigenous lowland evergreen forest. Your stay is helping us make this a reality! While you are with us, you will also notice that we don't use single use plastics and conserver energy and water. We care about the environment around us as we want our kids and guests to see the true beauty of this places for generations to come!
