This intermediate hiking experience offers a unique and unforgettable hiking adventure in Horton Plains, one of Sri Lanka's most stunning national parks. The 6km hike starts from the Wildlife Office of Horton Plains and takes you to the summit of Kirigalpotta Mountain, the second-highest mountain in Sri Lanka at 2,388m above sea level. Along the way, you'll be surrounded by beautiful scenery, flora, and fauna. You'll witness the World's End, nestled between cloudy forests and montane grasslands, and visit a waterfall on the descent. The tour takes roughly 8 hours and includes Sri Lankan meals. Hikes Lanka, led by guide Buddhika and his team, will plan a fully immersive hiking experience and can provide professional outdoor equipment upon request.

Itinerary: Pattipola or Ohiya - Horton Plains National Park - Pattipola or Ohiya

Today you will trek up to the World's End, nested between cloudy forests and montane grasslands.
- 5.30 AM: The hike starts from the Wildlife Office of Horton Plains and is about 6km long until the summit of The Kirigalpotta Mountain, the second-highest mountain in the island and is a moderate adventure.
- Take your time to enjoy the views and visit the waterfall as you are descending. You will have Sri Lankan meals after completing the hike. The journey will take about 8 hours.
