This is a stay at an organic farm. Experience a peaceful, tranquil getaway experience at Hoho Farmstay, a family-run space located in Batang Kali, Ulu Yam Lama. Here, you can experience authentic Hokkien culture, tradition and food like the famous Loh Mee. Farmstay Facilities Hoho Farmstay has 4 bedrooms, altogether with 8 queen beds for 16 guests. All bedrooms have air-conditioning, and all bathrooms are installed with water heaters. The home provides towels and toiletries (such as body soap/shower gel, shampoo) for guests. The home is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen with cooking facilities – Dining table – Refrigerator – Stove – BBQ Grill. Pets are NOT allowed and smoking is prohibited inside the home. BBQ equipment is also readily available (two packs of charcoal will be provided) for those who prefer deep conversations over a smoking grill. For those who wish to venture out to Ulu Yam, your attentive hosts will be delighted to provide recommendations of activities and local eateries. Farm VisitDuring your visit to the organic farm, you will be given an authentic farming experience in picking some fresh produce for your own dinner plates. Take home 5 packs of honest farm-grown vegetables for free! Complimentary for guests. Bonus point - the hosts will also provide you with a complimentary organic vegetable soup base if you wish to enjoy a steamboat dinner. Please bring your own steamboat ingredients. Annexed to the homestay, there is a Kebun Cafe serving coffee and some local delights operating on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10.00 am-5.00 pm. You can even consider visiting Hulu Tamu Hot Spring nearby, which some believe to have medicinal value in curing skin ailments and rheumatism! The time you spend on this farm stay is sure to be one that rewards and recharges.
