4D3N small-group liveaboard: world-class diving + Komodo’s iconic spots
This gorgeous 4D3N liveaboard lets you experience the best of Komodo - incredible dive sites and iconic spots on land. It’s perfect for divers who want world-class diving while still enjoying the famous viewpoints and landscapes that Komodo is known for.Over four days, you’ll do up to 11 dives (including night dives) at epic sites like Batu Bolong, Manta Point, Castle Rock, Shotgun and more. Expect a mix of drift dives, coral gardens, walls and seamounts - with chances to spot reef sharks, mantas, turtles, trevallies and large schools of pelagic reef fish. There’s also a dedicated underwater photographer on board, capturing all the highlights of your dives so you can relive the adventure later. On land, you’ll visit three iconic spots: the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, Pink Beach, and the breathtaking viewpoint at Padar Island. This gorgeous phinisi liveaboard is the kind of boat you'd want to come back to - it's spacious, stylish, and designed for ultimate comfort between dives. The cabins are spacious with ensuite toilets, huge sun decks perfect for sun tanning, and beautiful indoor and outdoor dining areas. There's even karaoke at night! Unlike larger liveaboards, this trip is capped at just 12 divers, which also means a more personalised dive experience.By joining this dive trip, you’ll help support ocean conservation by taking part in underwater and beach clean-ups, leaving Komodo better than you found it. In addition, 1% of the trip price goes towards local initiatives, including free Open Water dive courses for children in the community. What to ExpectUp to 11 dives over four days across Central and Northern Komodo, featuring Batu Bolong, Manta Point, Mawan, Turtle City, Tatawa Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, and Shotgun - covering drift, wall, sloping reef, and seamount dives with exceptional marine biodiversityCentral Komodo dives featuring vibrant coral reefs, turtles, manta rays, and rich reef life, alongside a mix of relaxed and current-driven sitesNorthern Komodo dives known for stronger currents and adrenaline-filled action, with chances to see reef sharks, trevallies, barracudas, groupers, and tuna hunting in schoolsNight dive to see the reef come alive after darkTime on land for visiting the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, hikes on Padar and visits to Pink BeachActive participation in ocean/beach clean-ups to give back to the oceanUnderwater photos captured by a dedicated photographer, focusing on group moments, marine life, and reef ecosystemsSmall group experience with enthusiastic crew and local guides who know the best spots.A rare trip with the boat director personally joins the trip, serves guests onboard, and ensures every detail - from diving operations to guest comfort - is handled with care and attention.Dive Sites & Marine Life HighlightsCentral Komodo offers vibrant reefs, rich biodiversity, and a mix of relaxed and current-driven dives.Key dive sites include:Turtle City - Known for frequent green and hawksbill turtle encounters, healthy coral gardens, and abundant reef fish. Often used as a warm-up or relaxed dive.Batu Bolong - One of Komodo’s most famous dive sites. Expect strong currents, colourful coral walls, and dense marine life including reef sharks, trevallies, napoleon wrasse, and large schooling fish.Manta Point - A renowned manta ray cleaning station. Divers often encounter manta rays gliding overhead, along with rays and schooling reef fish.Mawan – A vibrant reef and manta cleaning site, often quieter than Manta Point, with chances to see manta rays, reef sharks, and rich coral formations.Northern Komodo (Dry Season: April–November)Northern Komodo dive sites are accessed during the dry season when conditions allow and are known for adrenaline-filled dives and pelagic action.Key dive sites include:Cauldron / Shotgun - A thrilling drift dive through a narrow channel with strong currents. Expect high fish action, including reef sharks, giant trevallies, groupers, barracudas, and hunting tuna.Crystal Rock - A submerged pinnacle famous for clear visibility, challenging currents, and massive schools of pelagic fish circling the reef.Castle Rock - A current-swept seamount offering some of Komodo’s best big-fish encounters, including grey reef sharks, barracudas, trevallies, and tunas. At high-current sites, divers may experience short but intense action zones (approx 15–20 mins) where pelagic fish hunt schooling reef fish.Good to KnowThe itinerary shown is a sample and may change due to tides, currents, and weather conditions to ensure everyone’s safety. Marianus and Margareth founded the company in 2025, bringing years of hands-on experience from Komodo’s diving and hospitality scene. They, who often stay onboard themselves, ensures every trip runs smoothly and responsibly. The boat is staffed entirely by local people from Labuan Bajo and Bira, reflecting their commitment to supporting community livelihoods and preserving local expertise. They focus on ethical wildlife interactions and make it a point to keep their trips eco-friendly, doing beach and underwater clean-ups after each journey. It’s clear they care deeply about protecting the ocean and respecting the people who live by it, making each adventure not just fun, but meaningful for all involved.
