Meet your host
Agung has spent nearly a decade helping travellers explore the waters of Komodo National Park. His Phinisi boats offer a peaceful liveaboard experience, anchored in calm spots away from strong currents. Guests can expect a well-prepared crew, quality snorkelling and diving gear, stand-up paddle boards, and guided trips to hidden beaches and local sights. Agung also believes in giving back—he trains guides from remote areas like Sumba, Flores, and Kalimantan, offering opportunities to former religious leaders, teachers, and even ex-gang members. With Agung and his team, travellers not only enjoy a well-organised adventure but also support a community that’s growing through tourism.
