Review Body: An unforgettable journey from start to finish with Rudy Trekker. Every leg of the adventure brought something special—from the cozy night in the guesthouse before the climb, to sleeping under the stars on the mountain, and finally relaxing next to the river while descending via the stunning Torean route.
The crew truly made the experience exceptional. The guide and porters were attentive, incredibly kind, and kept everyone motivated. To top it all off, the food they prepared along the trail was nothing short of amazing, offering the ultimate comfort and reward after a long day of walking.
Anyone looking for a seamless, well-supported, and deeply rewarding trek needs to look no further. I would definitely recommend going with them.

Review Body: Wow wow wow wow, what an amazing experience was this! Rudy Trekker is definitely the 5* company and that makes such a huge difference. The climb is hard and it's so extremely convenient that they literally take care of EVERYTHING, so you only have to worry about putting your one foot before the other and keep on walking. I was extremely surprised by all the different food they gave us. It's like you are in a very good restaurant, but then on top of a mountain. Seriously incredible. Also a big shoutout to Kabul, Gigi and all other porters. They are true heroes. I can recommend everyone to book here!

Review Body: We enjoyed the entire process from the pickup from airport as it was efficient and smooth.
Once at Rudy's inn, there was warm hospitality and smooth check in and briefing on what to expect the next day.
In summary for the hike, our tour guide Hiru was very supportive and encouraging as he pace us towards the summit. Not to forget our porters too who are the unspoken MVP who carried our logistics and prepared our delicious food to keep us fueled.
Would definitely recommend others seeksophie if they would like to go mount rinjani

Review Body: Wat top gefixt!!!

Review Body: Thanks Rudy and team for a fun and safe hiking experience. Rudy’s very experienced in planning and assigned us a guide and own group suitable for our pace/ level. They were also flexible in changing of itinerary as we were too tired to continue in our original schedule. Our guide Rico and two porters were super helpful and we enjoyed our hike with them. Thank you!!

Review Body: Incredible views, very good guide and food. Beautiful trek. Technically difficult but very rewarding. Safety issues at the park that should not be underestimated (dangerous heights) as although these are the responsibility of the park, they made me extremely anxious

Review Body: My girlfriend and I did our climb with Rudy's team and they really blew us away with their hospitality and their professionalism. We were recommended by a friend who said that Rudy had the best team in Lombok and we definitely agree!
We were super unprepared for the climb - we didn't actually even train, or bring warm clothing. At Rudy's guesthouse, they basically gave us all the equipment we needed including sweaters, warm hats and walking sticks for our climb. Rudy's guesthouse was a gorgeous oasis in Lombok (he built it himself with his savings from his porter and guiding days!) and we really enjoyed being there before the climb.
On the climb, Rudy's guides took amazing care of us the entire way. What really shows their attention to detail was that they even plated the meals that we had on the mountain! It was a really tough climb and those meals were what we really looked forward to. Knowing that we had an incredible 2-3 course meal at each stop made us push a little bit harder during our climb.
We were also super impressed by how eco-conscious Rudy's guides are. Climbers to Rinjani would know that Rinjani usually has a trash problem. But Rudy's guides would actually pick up their own trash, and also all the trash of the groups around us. It was pretty amazing to see how a small trekking company can make such a big difference just by their own actions.
We would highly recommend Rudy and his team for being professional, really caring, helpful and eco-conscious! We wouldn't have made it up and down the mountain without their help!!!

Review Body: Did the Torean route and it blew my mind. I've done hikes in New Zealand and Switzerland and the views here are comparable. Lush valleys, waterfalls, etc I still can't believe I was in Asia. We heard from the locals that the Torean route was created by the earthquake so most people still don't know about it.
Basically the only difference between the Torean route and the others is that after summit, you come down a different way from everyone else. On the Torean route you get an EPIC view of the mountains and valley. As you come down, you eventually walk through the valley with the mountains flanking your sides. Very cool and because it’s so green, I felt like I was in Hawaii (like the islands in the movie Moana!). Need to be careful though because one wrong step and you literally tumble down the mountain…
Bruno, my guide, was awesome – he even massaged my thighs when I had a cramp - total legend! Food was SO good, like a mountain warung. I honestly didn't expect food to be so good up on the mountain. There was a fruit platter with every meal!!
Tips:
- It's tough! Even fit hikers should do the 4-day for a bit more time and to enjoy the views.
- There's a ton of food but you should bring snacks just in case! you'll be grateful for it.
- If it’s raining / bad weather, the guides won’t bring guests through the mountain/valley Torean route because its very slippery and dangerous. So if you're super set on Torean, then avoid rainy season.
- The sleeping arrangements are comfy. There's a tent with foam mat and sleeping bag on top.

Review Body: An unforgettable Rinjani experience with Rudy Trekker!
We recently completed a 4D3N expedition to climb Mt. Rinjani with Rudy Trekker, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish.
Our guide Bruno was exceptional — his deep knowledge of the mountain, calm leadership, and sense of humour made all the difference. It was clear from the very beginning that our safety and comfort were always his top priority, but he also made the trek fun, engaging, and memorable. Bruno’s experience really shone through, from pacing us perfectly on the steep climbs to sharing fascinating stories about the mountain and its surroundings. Our two porters were also outstanding, anticipating our needs and always ready with food, drinks, and smiles.
The food on the mountain far exceeded our expectations — fresh, varied, and delicious, even at high altitude. Hot showers and cold towels were waiting for us after the trek, a very welcome surprise!
Overall, Rudy Trekker delivered an experience that was not only professionally run and safe, but also warm, personal, and full of heart. We cannot recommend them — and especially Bruno — highly enough to anyone planning to climb Mt. Rinjani.

Review Body: I had an amazing experience hiking Mt.Rinjani with Rudy Trekker.
Big shout-out to our guide, Kabul, and porters, Davet and Awan (the Black Cobra crew), for providing us with the best hospitality. Kabul was very diligent and always prioritised our safety - he’d make sure we held on to the ropes and pre-empt us on slippery parts. He’d always ensure we were well rested, well fuelled and hydrated throughout the hike. The porters would always try to find us the best camping spots and provide us with the best comfort, and the food they cooked were all so yummy.
The other services provided by Rudy Trekker from before the hike and after were tip-top as well. Am immensely grateful for all the effort they’ve put in to make this such an enjoyable trip for us. 10/10 would recommend!
My advise if you’re considering this hike:
Please listen to your guide and wear the right kind of shoes. Trekking poles are immensely useful for the summit. Always watch your step, the pictures can wait. Stay safe.

Review Body: Honestly I think I was extremely lucky to have booked this trip with Rudy Trekker on Seek Sophie, it turned out to be an out of the world experience for me. I think November is a low season so the trip became like a private trip because I was the only trekker they had for a 2D1N crater rim hike package. My guide Dika was very profesional and attentive, I don't feel hurried in my hike, moreover, i'm not a seasoned hiker and absolutely did not train for this, I booked everything on a whim. So i was extremely grateful for Dika's patience and tolerance with my hiking speed. Then there's Adi, my porter. Words can't describe how incredible porters are. In addition to carrying loads that are insane heavy, hiking up the mountain, Adi prepared all these AMAZING MEALS along the hike.....which is mind blowing, it still feels surreal to me. This experience is so incredible that I have decided to join another hike next year! Till we meet again guys !

Review Body: The adventure of a lifetime! Cannot recommend Rudy Trekker enough. Three days before I started the hike I got very sick, so I wasn't in great condition when we started. But our guide Kabul and his team of porters always made sure I was safe and supported. The tour company provides any and all equipment you might need on the trek. And the guesthouse you stay at on the first night is soooo nice. Huge and clean room with pools overlooking the jungle and ocean. The trekking was so difficult but so worth it. The most beautiful views I have ever seen. Watching the sunrise over the crater rim is a moment I will remember my whole life. And as a bonus, all the food in the trails was amazing!! Seriously impressed at how they whip up such delicious dishes in the wild. If you're considering hiking Rinjani, definitely go with Rudy Trekker!

Review Body: The trip was perfectly organized from start to finish. Upon arriving at the guesthouse, Rudi provided us with all the necessary information about the tour and made sure everything was clear. Every detail was taken care of, from pickups and drop-offs to the transfer to our next hotel.
During the tour, our guide Edy and the porters went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. They were always attentive to how we were feeling, adjusted the pace when needed, and shared interesting explanations and insights throughout the journey.
Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication made this an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a well-organized and authentic adventure.

Review Body: This trip was so amazing on so many levels. We did the 4 days 3 nights one and even though it was really really tough, the porters and guides made it possible and really enjoyable. I also found out that the one of the most important people are the porters! It wouldn't be possible without them. They worked so hard to carry our stuff from campsite to campsite each day. They also cooked the food and set up the tents. Our guide was very kind and looked after us very well! So grateful to Rudy for planning it so well and taking care of every little detail. The food was so good! The tents, mattresses and sleeping bag were provided and very much appreciated.

Review Body: Rudy does a great job providing an excellent mountain experience. The guest house is beautiful, and the trek is well organized. Our guide, Hari, did a great job leading us up the mountain. He kept a good schedule, adjusted the pace as needed, and gave us accurate time estimates to each resting point. We never waited long for our meals and they were always a huge portion - I never felt hungry. The porters were amazing in there ability to haul our supplies up the mountain, and cook us fantastic food. Overall a really great experience with seasoned porters and guides.

Review Body: An unforgettable experience! The trek was definitely hard and requires some preparation, but our guide and porters were always helpful and supportive. The food was great too, even for me as a vegetarian. Everything was perfectly organized from pick up to drop off, and sleeping in a tent on the crater rim was an incredible experience that we will never forget. The possibility to have a shower after the trek was also very much appreciated.
A big thank you to the whole team, and especially to Teguh, Dandi and Adih!

Discover the beauty of Mt Rinjani with professional guides & delicious meals
This 3D2N trek follows a more traditional route of starting in Sembalun and finishing in Senaru village with camping along the way at the crater rim and Segara Anak Lake.It also includes a complimentary 1 night stay at Guesthouse before the start of the trek. This is for intermediate to advanced hikers who want to see everything that Mount Rinjani has to offer! What makes this experience special is the excellent service and attention to detail provided by Rudy and his team. They can provide warm clothing, walking sticks, and all necessary equipment for the climb. The meals provided by the team are also a highlight, with a focus on presentation and taste. The guides are professional, hospitable, and eco-conscious, ensuring that visitors have an unforgettable experience while also protecting the environment. What to expect: The tour starts from Rudy's Guesthouse, where you'll spend the night before the climb. On the first day of the climb, visitors will begin their ascent to Crater Rim and camp overnight at Sembalun Crater Rim.On the second day of the climb, visitors will reach the summit of Mount Rinjani for sunrise before hiking to the Segara Anak Lake and hotspring for lunch. Overnight stay at Senaru Crater Rim.On the third day of the climb, you will descened to Senaru Village.Amenities:Guest House: private room with ensuite bathroom and hot shower; fan and AC in roomCamping: sleeping bag, mattress, pillow and waterproof tent; toilet tent set up at each camping locationImportant Considerations:Fitness: Mount Rinjani is Indonesia’s second-highest volcano and the third-highest mountain in Indonesia, reaching 3,726 m above sea level. This trek requires a good level of fitness, strong stamina, and preparation for long hours of walking with steep ascents and descents.Experience: No technical climbing or mountaineering skills are required for Mount Rinjani. This means there are no fixed lines, or sections where you need to use your hands to climb or hold onto rocks to stay on the mountain. If you can walk uphill for several hours, you have the basic skills needed for the trek. However, previous trekking experience is highly recommended, as Mount Rinjani is physically demanding, involving long walking days, steep ascents and descents, uneven terrain, and loose volcanic sand near the summit. The main challenge is stamina and endurance.Guide: Hiring a knowledgeable guide is crucial for safety, route finding, and ensuring you are well prepared for the conditions throughout the trek.Weather & Conditions: Weather conditions on Mount Rinjani can change quickly, with cold temperatures, strong winds, and limited visibility near the summit. The trekking route may also become more challenging during the rainy season.Available Add-onConsider adding an additional day and night for a total of a 4D3N trip, giving you an extra day to soak in the beauty of Mt Rinjani and a slower, more relaxed pace. You will spend the extra night near the volcano lake.Extra personal porter for individual luggage carrying, maximum 30kgs/porter.Pickup or drop off for locations such as Labuhan Poh, Kores, Tembowong Harbour, Ekas, and Selong Belanak.

Rudy first started as a porter on Mount Rinjani, and saw how his beloved mountain was polluted by trash. Eventually, he saved enough to start his own guiding company. Determined to make a difference, he trained his guides in responsible practices to address the mountain's pollution. His team not only cleans up their own waste but also that of other groups, setting a positive example. Rudy's skilled guides went on to establish their own responsible companies, creating a network of eco-conscious businesses in Rinjani. By choosing Rudy's team, you're not just getting an amazing climb, you're directly supporting a cleaner Rinjani and a more responsible tourism industry.
