The next morning, meet up with Henry, our local guide with 20 years of experience and join our skillful drivers to explore the Mazu Temple that dates back to the 19th century. Mazu is a Chinese goddess whose belief came to Southern Vietnam with Chinese immigrants during the Ming-Qing dynasties in the late 18th century when round 7,000 Southern Chinese settled in various places in the Southern Vietnam.

Meander through the largest wet market in town. This vibrant marketplace is a veritable treasure trove, where the pulse of local life beats with fervor. Here, you’ll find a cornucopia of treasures, from luscious fruits and fresh produce to clothing, household essentials, and beyond.

As you stroll through this bustling hub, your senses are enticed by the vibrant array of colors and aromas. Vinh Long Market is renowned for its exquisite selection of textiles, where the threads of tradition intertwine with modern trends.

Walking tour to a rural village where the shaded paths snuggle tranquil residential buildings. Immerse into a typical countryside scenery where fish farms, canals blanketed with water hyacinth, and handicraft artisans co-exist.

Traverse the bustling city streets to a lesser-known town and pop into a resident’s family with a fertile garden. You’ll learn how to ditch snails straight out of the canals, identify ferns and duckweed, discover their life cycle, select your favorite tropical fruits, and have lunch at the house.
