Meet your host
Fardi is someone who lets his actions speak louder than words. Starting out as a hotel housekeeper, he’s slowly built a well-respected boat operation in Tanjung Puting, always keeping his focus on people and the land. He’s not one for show, but those around him know him as a steady, generous presence — mentoring his crew, hiring locals, and quietly supporting conservation efforts through his own foundation. Many of his team have been with him for years, growing under his guidance. Fardi’s tours aren’t flashy, but they’re full of heart — shaped by real history, care for the forest, and a deep sense of responsibility to his community.
