Review Body: We hebben via Seek Sophie een geweldige ervaring gehad in Borneo. Vanaf het begin was alles uitstekend geregeld. We werden netjes opgehaald bij ons hotel, hadden onderweg een korte pauze en de hele organisatie verliep soepel. Het personeel was vriendelijk, behulpzaam en wist duidelijk waar ze het over hadden. De eerste riviercruise was echt fantastisch. We hadden een ontzettend enthousiaste gids die veel vertelde over de natuur en de dieren. Dankzij zijn kennis en inzet zagen we al tijdens de eerste cruise vier van de Big Five van Borneo. Ook tijdens de avondcruise bleef hij enthousiast en deelde hij veel interessante informatie, wat de ervaring nog specialer maakte. De volgende dag hadden we een andere gids. Hij vertelde wat minder uitgebreid, maar deed samen met de bootbestuurder echt zijn uiterste best om ons ook het laatste dier van de Big Five te laten zien. Helaas is dat niet gelukt, maar dat hoort natuurlijk bij een safari in de wilde natuur. Juist dat maakt de ervaring authentiek. De kamer was bovendien uitstekend en zelfs beter dan we hadden verwacht: schoon, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Al met al was dit een onvergetelijke ervaring die we iedereen kunnen aanbevelen. De combinatie van de prachtige natuur, de goede organisatie en de enthousiaste medewerkers maakte dit een absoluut hoogtepunt van onze reis door Borneo.

Review Body: Sukau Greenview was a highlight of our month in Malaysia. Our one-night package included three cruises, so there was never a moment of wondering what to do with ourselves. The wildlife exceeded our expectations. Across the cruises we saw proboscis monkeys, macaques, hornbills and crocodiles, plus a good number of birds on the night cruise. The guides made the difference: they knew where to look, cut the engine at the right moments, and were happy to answer questions about the forest and the pressures on the area. The staff are young, friendly and clearly enjoy what they do. We stayed in the dorm, which was very clean and perfect for a single night. There's also a cute coffee shop right next door if you want a proper barista coffee before or after a cruise. Don’t worry if you dont have binoculars, the lodge rents them for RM50 for 2 days, which we thought was fair. We'd book it again without hesitating.

Review Body: One of the best things we have done whilst travelling! We are so glad we were able to fit this into our short Borneo trip as it was amazing! We managed to see 4 out of the big 5, only missing the crocodiles. Definitely recommend renting binoculars from the hotel for rm50! The accommodation is good for a short stay, but the dorm beds are quite close together. Staff were amazing from pick up to drop off, and very knowledgeable about the animals we saw! Although we didn’t see much wildlife on the night cruise I am still glad it was part of this trip, as many trips leave you with nothing to do at night, which was not the case here! Only negatives are that dinner can run out quite quickly, and there was a miscommunication with regards to drop off, but we did end up in the right drop off at the end, and neither of these took away from the overall experience! Absolutely amazing!

Review Body: our 2D1N trip with the guided river cruise tour was excellent, we have a great group of people having the tour with, very skilled and easy going, nice tour guide,(Azizie) who explained very detailed about the animals out there, we saw a full herd of elephants enjoying themselves in the river, Hornbills, crocodiles and other birds and little snake during the night cruise. Our favourite was the early morning cruise, beautiful lights, good weather. the double (private) room is outstanding, we love that, i recommend it if you prefer comfort and private own space instead of sharing the same room with others- which im pretty sure a satisfying experience here at Greenview lodge, as well. Thank you for the staff as well for having us with good care. Highlight of our trip for sure.

Review Body: I booked the 2D1N Kinabatangan River Safari via SeekSophie and it was absolutely amazing. My guide Bob was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and funny. He absolutely made the experience for me! He went out of his way to make sure we saw all of the Borneo Big 5 and was clearly passionate about his work and the animals. He was even able to replicate many of the animal calls which was very impressive! His happiness and extensive knowledge really made him stand out from other tours I have done before. I would recommend this trip for anyone, the dorms were comfortable, food was decent and all the staff were very friendly. 10/10 would love to do it again :)

Review Body: This was a great experience. We received a lot of useful information ahead of arriving. The transport was also very smoothly organised with hotel pick up and drop off. The food was delicious, it was a buffer style with lots of options for mains, vegetables, and fresh fruit (and amazing banana bread! ). The room was very clean, spacious, and conformable. The highlight of the stay was of course our search for wildlife. All the staff are very knowledgeable, passionate, and respectful of the wildlife. We were able to see four of the big 5 (with the exception of the elusive orangutan). The night cruise was also such a unique way to explore the river.

Review Body: We took the 2 days 1 night trip and stayed in a double room in the b&b. It was such an incredible experience and was the highlight of our trip to Borneo! We saw all the big 5 (if you include baby crocodiles 😄), and many other species of bird and monkey. I’d recommend this trip to anyone who considers coming to Borneo for a nature and wildlife holiday. I wish we knew about this earlier because if we’d have known, we wouldn’t have stayed in sandakan for 3 nights prior to our river safari. We would have done a longer safari instead and enjoyed the fantastic hospitality and knowledge from the guides. Thank you for an incredible trip!

Review Body: We loved our time at Sakau Greenview Lodge and wish we’d stayed longer. Everything was so well organised, from the pick up through to drop off we were very well looked after. The rooms are really great, modern, spacious and comfortable with a good shower and air conditioning. Food was excellent too and all well presented. The best bit was of course the river safari. We were so lucky and saw a big herd of elephants on 2 cruises, and even got to seem them swim across the river. Our guide was excellent and really knowledgeable. I can’t recommend this enough, the best part of our trip to Borneo.

Review Body: Beautiful experience - a well organised tour from the very start till drop off. The Greenview Lodge is amazing, totally worth the money spent. Very comfortable room with AC and a queen bed, all beautiful and brand new. Delicious food and free water/tea/coffee. All three cruises are fabulous - the night one was my favourite. Great jungle adventure: birds, monkeys, crocodiles - the mystic rainforest nature. As a bonus - great weather during the trip. It was absolutely amazing - I only wished a booked a longer stay. Absolutely recommended.

Review Body: Very well organized trip, no rush and good atmosphere. Accomodation is comfy enough and tasty basic buffet brekky/dinner. We’ve seen many animals but unfortunately I little bit too high in trees or far away (take binoculars). However some other travellers another day spotted animals closer to them and even an Elephant! So basicly… have high hopes, low expectations and enjoy the beautiful nature around :) The manager also was very helpful with rescheduling my trip. Great communication. I’m happy to recommend this tour!

Review Body: We had an amazing trip and saw all of the big 5 and more. We are so happy we booked it. The guides were great as were all the staff at the lodge and we were really pleasantly surprised with the size of our accommodation. We weren’t able to go on the night boat trip due to storms but we were really pleasantly surprised that we were given a partial refund- after all they weren’t in control of the weather! The only thing that was a bit below our expectations was the food, we’ve had much better food on other trips.

Review Body: We really enjoyed our trip with Sukau Greenview. Staff were very professional and our guide Zechariah was very knowledgeable and happy to share information on the various creatures and plants we saw. We enjoyed the boat rides in the cool mist of the river. Although we only saw 2 of the big 5, we had gained much from the whole experience. Rooms were simple but comfortable. Food at the lodge was tasty. We liked the fact that this package includes a night river cruise. Hope to be back again one day!

Review Body: We were pleasantly surprised at how modern the rooms were great air con and large and comfy Communication about pick up was excellent organisation once were at the Lodge made everything very easy and organised the trips we did were excellent. The guys were very knowledgeable and really did the best to help find the big five unfortunately we only saw four but they pointed out lots of other wildlife and fauna. I would highly recommend this to anyone. We are in our 50s and thought it was amazing

Activités au top qui permet de voir l'ensemble du big 5 ou presque (pas de croco pour nous) Nourriture très bonne sous forme de buffet Chambre avec literie confortable, bonne climatisation silencieuse (insonorisation perfectible, seul petit défaut mais comme tout le monde fait les mêmes activités, il n'y a pas de couche tard !) On n'a pas pu faire la croisière de nuit à cause de la pluie et on nous a proposé un remboursement !

Review Body: Amazing experience, we were so well looked after from the moment we arrived. River cruises were well organised and we saw 4 out of the big 5 (no elephanta for us unfortunately). Vegan dietary requirement was extremely well catered for - we got separate tofu and tempeh dishes prepared in addition to the general buffet (rice, veg etc.), plus extra fruit just for us to make up for the non-vegan dessert options. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had good air conditioning.

Review Body: Truly a magical experience which exceeded all expectations. The place is a wonder and the animals are a gift to anyone who takes the time to visit them. The service of Sukau Greenview B&B has been consistently wonderful and was integral to the overall enjoyment of the experience. Everything was done with utmost respect for both the animals and guests. The activities were done on time and place spectacularly clean. Highly recommended and would definitely try to go back!

The choice of food was great and we were well catered for our vegetarian meal. Review Body: Well run establishment with caring and friendly staff and knowledgable guides. I have a curry and tumeric allergy and they went above and beyond to ensure my safety to include cooking a seperate dish for me and telling me what was safe and what to avoid. The boat tours were really fun. Transport t/f airport was smooth and the add-ons of the sun bears and orangutangs very cool. All around a great 2D/1N stay!

Review Body: Friendly driver and lodge staff. The rooms were pleasant and food was good with multiple options. The river cruises were really entertaining and we had great luck. Managed to see Macaques, Probuscus Monkeys, loads of birds, a glimpse of a crocodile and even two elephants. Probably the best thing I did on Borneo and I've recommended it to everyone I've met.

Review Body: The river cruises were really fun, we saw an array of animals. The accommodation was basic but you spend so little time in the room it doesn’t really matter. The food was really nice too. We had a miscommunication with the Sepilok / Sun Bear add on, and ended up doing it separately which in the end was good because we got more time in that area.

Get a briefing of the activities during your stay with us and checked in to your room. 16.30 pm: Cruise the afternoon in Sabah’s longest river and one of the most bio-diverse areas in the world, The Kinabatangan River. Watch wildlife abounded along the banks and visit one of its famous tributaries for more wildlife. (2 hours cruise). 19.00 pm: Enjoy dinner at our riverside restaurant. 20.00 pm: Night cruise dedicated for nocturnal wildlife such as kingfishers, Buffy fish owls, wild cat, snakes, frogs, and others.
