Three dives across Semporna's vibrant reefs, schedule varies daily
If you're a certified diver looking to explore Semporna's reefs, this full-day trip offers a relaxed way to experience some of the region's best dive sites. Your itinerary follows a fixed weekly island rotation—a common practice in Semporna—so the islands you visit depend on the day of the week, with each route offering a different underwater experience.Monday & Thursday: Mabul & Kapalai – world-famous for macro life, with frogfish, nudibranchs, and other tiny reef critters that underwater photographers love.Tuesday, Friday & Sunday: Mataking & Pandanan – known for healthy coral reefs, clear water, reef sharks, and excellent chances of spotting turtles.Wednesday & Saturday: Si Amil – a more remote and less-visited island, offering dramatic scenery and the possibility of encounters with devil rays.Whichever route you take, you'll enjoy three guided dives with opportunities to spot sea turtles, colourful reef fish, rays, and vibrant coral gardens. Visibility varies with the season, but Semporna's rich marine life makes every dive rewarding. It's best suited to certified divers looking for a relaxed, well-supported experience rather than a big, rushed boat trip. Groups are intentionally kept small—up to 5 divers per divemaster or 4 per instructor—so there's plenty of individual attention.Travelling with friends or family who don't dive? They can still join the trip by adding the 'Snorkelling Day Trip' during booking. They'll head out on the same boat as the divers and snorkel at the dive sites while you're underwater, so everyone gets to enjoy the day together, even if not everyone is diving. What to ExpectJoin-in full-day trip from Semporna Seafest Jetty (8:30AM–4:30PM)3 guided fun dives around Semporna's island reefsSmall guiding ratio of max. 5 divers per divemaster or 4 per instructorSurface intervals on the boat or beach (tide permitting)Packed lunch, drinking water, tea, and coffee includedDive equipment included (excluding dive computer)Return boat transfers, marine park fees, jetty fees, SST, and tourism tax includedGood to KnowSuitable for certified divers onlyLand transfers are not includedMarine life sightings and visibility vary with season and sea conditionsMeeting point: Semporna Seafest Jetty

Meet your host
Started in 2018, this host was founded by Syed and Ella, a Malaysian-English couple who met through diving. Both are scuba diving instructors, so their work is shaped by real time spent underwater, not just sightseeing. Their connection to Sabah comes from its reefs, sea life and wild natural spaces, which they know closely through years of diving. That background gives guests a more grounded experience, especially if they’re curious about the marine world and want to explore Sabah with people who understand it from below the surface.
Experience: 8 years
