Review Body: (1) Our guide, Scott, is very friendly and very easy-going with a good sense of humour. He started off the group tour with an ice breaker - introductions with small backgrounds regarding each member of the tour were said so we could get to know each other. During the activity, Scott made sure he got to know each one of us on a personal level by making 1:1 conversations. (2) Not only were we fed information re: history of Fort Serapong, we were also given fun activities to do as a group. It was a nice way of interacting with each other! (3) A photographer was with us and she took awesome photos, which were shared via Google drive the next day. (4) This activity is highly recommended, as it’s a place one wouldn’t think of when in Singapore.

Review Body: We booked a 2D1N Mongolian Yurt Experience. It surpassed all our expectations. For starters, the hospitality was beyond amazing. We felt to welcome by Scott, Kavita and Kelly. They were so friendly and gracious, and gave us a different perspective on things. Scott was very insightful with the heaps of information about Mongolian heritage, history and traditions. He ensured that we learnt valuable survival skills while having fun at the same time. From communication skills to fire making skills to much more. Kavita made us feel at home. She would always a smile on her face and ensure that we were at utmost comfort throughout our stay. She makes the most scrumptious meals and her Humani-Tea is a must-have when you’re there! Kelly, the super intern (minus the cape) was bubbly, encouraging and so so helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the whole experience is something we cannot stop raving about. Expect the unexpected, be it the weather or elements of survival, embrace the fun filled activities and be prepared for an experience of a lifetime! Special thanks to the team for helping to make Alvin’s Birthday a really special one and imparting abit of Mongolia to us! Hopefully travel opens up to Mongolia and we get to see the real deal with beyondexpeditions 😊

Review Body: Super unique experience in Singapore! We could have visited the bunkers ourselves (well, if we managed to find them!), but we were super glad we did it with Beyond Expeditions as the way they did it made it 10X more interesting. I’ve lived in Singapore pretty much my whole life and never knew these bunkers existed! They were much larger than I thought they would be and getting to see them really brought back the awe of travelling. Our favourite part of the experience was all the side challenges that our guide Scott came up with! We went in a group of 4 as a surprise birthday treat for a friend. And the side challenges were a super fun way of bringing the tunnels for life for us, and getting us to experience them in a way that we wouldn’t otherwise have. We also got much muddier than the other guy in our group who didn’t opt to do the challenges, but that’s part of the fun! Scott was also a great guide - super engaging and involving each person in the group. Along the way Scott also told us little fun facts about the bunkers. Not too much that makes it feel like a history lesson, but enough fun facts and stories that really brought the tunnels to life for us. I also really enjoyed the tea session at the end, which was the perfect end to the expedition!

Review Body: Never thought a wilderness survival experience would be something we would do in Singapore, but Scott from Beyond Expedition once again manages to blow our expectations away! Our modern lives felt miles away and we felt like we were in Malaysia (but actually in Pulau Ubin), learning all these handy survival skills. Scott is an expert with all his knowledge and tools and taught us how to start a fire using dried leaves, twigs, coconut husks. He also taught us the proper technique to saw and spilt wood (yes like Captain America and Iron Man in Avengers :P) so that was pretty epic!! We also hand made our own wooden chopsticks (taught by Frederick, an amazing woodworking instructor). It was surprisingly therapeutic. Would recommend this experience for anyone who wants to disconnect from their hectic lives and reconnect with our natural environment. It was a perfect day out and I think it’s safe to say that I can probably survive in the wilderness for a few days (with the right tools!) Thanks Scott :D

Review Body: I took my teenagers and a nine year old girl for bonding. I was afraid that this will be “not cool” for them as the camp was in still in Singapore. At the end, all the girls could not stop thanking me. Scott, Kavitha, Ishani and Kelly were friendly and made us feel like we were their friends. We had a great time trying out different activities that I would not normally allow the kids to do like using a machete and a saw to cut the woods and setting up fire from scratch. Scott did make sure that safety was their priority. Food By the head chef Kavitha was simple yet delicious. The tent and the furniture were beautiful. I could turn the two portable aircons so cold 🥶 that I woke up to adjust the temp (Scott would say “I told you so”). At first, I feel that the price was high comparing to a staycation in a hotel, but the experience and the hospitality is unmatched. It is worth every penny.

Review Body: We had an amazing 2D1N getaway in the Mongolian yurt! It was the most adventurous, fun, educational holiday, and we enjoyed every minute of it even though it was raining cats and dogs! The yurt is beautifully crafted, the interior bright and colourful, beds are so comfy and the outdoor area is awesome - pure adventure in the midst of lush greenery with a feeling of being far away from the city. The Beyond Expedition Team - Scott, Kavita and Kelly - was amazing! Friendly, warm, outgoing, and passionate to make this getaway a memorable one for our family! Thank you so so much, we had lots of fun and enjoyed our time to the fullest! We highly recommend this trip for everyone who wants to reconnect with nature, do fun activities as a family, and disconnect from modern city life to recharge your batteries!

Review Body: Great genuine hospitality ! Scott and team made us feel welcome and at home ! They were also professional and knowledgeable and ensured safety first amidst all the fun n chopping ! the games were also meaningful and made an immediate impact to my boys. Delicious awesome meals freshly cooked by Kavitha and the chai tea was aromatic and fragrant. Although our unused muscles were really sore after all the chopping , we were still very grateful for this experience. Try it !

Review Body: Definitely the most fun I’ve had in Singapore for a while! I’ve never heard of Marsiling bunkers prior to this and it was better than I imagined - it was such a unique experience trekking through the rainforest off-trail and wading through the shin-deep mud in the bunkers. Major props to Scott and Catherine for making the trip extra fun with surprise challenges and games! The warm cup of Masala Chai was the perfect end to an already awesome day :)
