Learn the science behind a good roast + brew your own cup of coffee!
If you love coffee, this is a chance to discover what actually goes into your daily cup. Hosted in a beautiful nature sanctuary beside the forest (rather than a typical café), you’ll get a glimpse of rare coffee plants growing in Singapore, then dive into the science and craft behind roasting, grinding and brewing, with coffee pros sharing the tips and techniques that make all the difference to flavour. Perfect for a weekend adventure or a unique way to celebrate a special occasion! You’ll get to understand what makes a great roast, from how heat transforms the beans to how grind size and brewing technique affect the final cup. Then it’s your turn to get hands-on, brewing coffee using both the V60 pour-over and Moka methods, with plenty of guidance along the way to help you get the best out of each. If you’ve only ever had dark roasts with chocolatey notes, you’re in for a surprise – here, you’ll taste the delicate grassy and tea-like flavours of a light or medium roast.Of course, no coffee experience is complete without something to eat, so you’ll settle in with a simple bagel brunch and your freshly brewed coffee. Tucked away in this leafy corner of Singapore, it’s a lovely excuse to slow down, learn something new and spend a morning somewhere that feels worlds away from the city.Celebrating a birthday? 🎉If you're celebrating a special day, let the hosts know when booking!
