Welcome to Sophie’s Home - our first-ever community event! For one weekend (29-30 Nov 2025), we’ve turned a seaside farm at the edge of Singapore into a home for play.At its heart is a simple question: When was the last time you just played, like we did as kids? When you tried something new, not to be good at it, but simply for the fun of exploring. That’s what Sophie’s Home is about: a festival of curiosity, where getting messy is part of the fun, and chickens might just crash the conversation.‼️ Who Should Book This TicketIf you’ve already booked a Sophie’s Home experience, you do not need to book this! Your experience booking automatically includes General Access (talks, booths, free food etc).Only book this General Access ticket if you are NOT doing any Sophie's Home experiences, but want to come hang out and explore. You will still get access to all talks, booths and free food!If the experience you wanted is sold out, let us know if you'd like to be waitlisted. A general access ticket will also enable you to do experiences in the event of any no-shows! Talks - Not Your Average Storytime - hear stories from people who see the world differently.I Quit Being Perfect (and Became a Clown) [Sat & Sun | 3-330pm] Shanice isn’t your typical clown. She teaches people to play, mess up, and laugh at themselves - a radical act in Singapore, where failure feels like a dirty word. Come hear how embracing the ridiculous can be deeply healing. The Secret Life of Kueh [Sat & Sun | 330-4pm] Bet you’ve never met someone with 300 vintage kueh moulds - and stories for every one of them. Jasmine is on a mission to keep the stories behind our favourite snacks alive. Because when we lose out stories, we lose a bit of who we are.Lessons from an Accidental Farmer [Sat & Sun | 4-430pm] Joy’s path would make any typical Asian parent nervous. Once a straight-A student with the “conventional” dream of becoming a teacher, she somehow ended up writing a poetry thesis on food history, became a bartender, and now, farmer. Hear her stories on how to grow joy (and veggies) and how nature can become a part of our lives.Everyone Said We Were Crazy: Seek Sophie’s Story [Sat & Sun | 430-5pm] Come meet the co-founders of Seek Sophie! Hear stories that we've never shared before - how we started, how Covid almost killed us, what keeps us going, and why we still have so much love for the people and places that make Singapore special.👀 Sneak Peek: Upcoming on Seek Sophie [Sat & Sun | 5-530pm] Psst, we’ll be announcing a line up of exclusive experiences for Singapore + Seek Sophie Community Trips. We go on the ground to research and try out our trips, so we have lots of stories! Come chat with us about your 2026 trip plans and get ideas/tips!Asian Stories by Asian Creators: Building Eastside [Saturday only | 530-6pm] With bylines in Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure (and more!), Audrey has spent decades writing travel stories that get at the heart of a place. One thing she realised? How the Western view of Asia often misses the richness and nuance that locals see. Hear how she’s trying to change that with Eastside.Loving Nature in a Vanishing World [Sunday only | 530-6pm] Dennis is a marine biologist, naturalist and intertidal warrior obsessed with finding awe in Singapore’s wildlife - from otters to tiny intertidal creatures. Come hear him share about wonder, loss, and what it means to love nature in a vanishing world. What Ghosts Teach Us About Being Human [Sat & Sun | 6-630pm] Hear from Eugene, Singapore’s own Ghost whisperer who’s spent years chasing spirits through back alleys - trying to make sense of his own experiences. For Eugene, ghosts aren’t just scary - they’re about fear, healing, and the stories we tell ourselves.Shop Local Makers - we’ve gathered some of our favourite local makers you won’t find at other fairs! Shop intentionally and meet inspiring creatives crafting their passions.Honey, Mead & Beeswax candlesKimchi, Kombucha, Kopi, Garden CocktailsKintsugi pieces & DIY kitsArtisanal KayaCoffee & BeansNatural Essential Oils & Scented CocktailsRare Japanese SpiritsTemporary Tattoos

Meet your host
Hi, we’re Seek Sophie! We started Seek Sophie because we were tired of tourist traps. We just wanted to find real experiences - the kind run by locals who care deeply about what they do, not polished tours designed for tourists. We care deeply about how travel impacts people and the planet. That’s why we only work with experiences that give back to local communities, wildlife, and nature.
We also work with some of our favourite brands, makers, and experts to design Seek Sophie Exclusives, one-of-a-kind experiences you won’t find anywhere else. It’s experiences made for the curious - the kind that does good, feels good, and reminds us why we fell in love with exploring in the first place.
