This is an immersive half-day private kayaking trip starting at Pasir Ris beach to Pulau Ubin's mangrove forests, old farming lagoons, and cultural sites, with a short hike for beautiful quarry views.Option DetailsEscape to a very different Singapore and soak in the best that nature has to offer. Get to indulge in a chock-full of experiences: attempt an exciting channel crossing on open waters from Pasir Ris to Ubin, explore the mysterious mangrove forests, learn about Ubin's hidden history, spot wildlife like otters and eagles and dig into lunch at a floating restaurant!Apart from kayaking, you will also get out of the boat to explore a biodiverse intertidal sandbar, smell the incense at a century-old shrine, capture great views of a beautiful granite quarry lake, and cool off in the calm waters along a river estuary.Location and TimingThe start (Pasir Ris Beach) and endpoint (Changi Point Ferry Terminal) on this route are different.Tour start times (may be from 7am to 12pm) would be contingent on tides of the day, therefore the listed timing / schedule is TENTATIVE and will be confirmed one week prior to the trip.Important NotesDifficulty level of this option: Medium-high. A basic level of physical strength and endurance is neededParticipants should be able to swim 50m with a life jacket, be comfortable with getting a bit muddy, and with being surrounded by nature. Participants will be using inflatable double seater kayaks and will be required to help carry the kayaks, especially when doing land crossings or when making pit stops.Trips are suitable for children 7-12 years old, if the child isaccompanied by a participant above the age of 18 in the same kayak (or in same kayak as the guide)able to swim 50m with a life jacketcomfortable and able to stay calm in the water with a life jacket.
