Tom has been creating small, personalised adventures in Sarawak and Sabah since 2011. Together with his team, he draws on over 30 years of firsthand experience exploring Borneo’s rainforests, lesser-known trails, and village communities to shape trips that feel more personal than standard tours. He keeps groups small and travel low-impact, so guests can experience Borneo at a slower pace. What stands out most is how closely he works with local communities—training and employing guides, porters, and hosts so each trip supports local livelihoods. He also helps travellers join community-based projects, making the experience feel grounded in the people and places that make Borneo special.
