H2Ocean Langkawi
Reena grew up in Langkawi in a family that worked in hospitality, but it was travelling to places like Seattle and Australia’s Gold Coast that changed how she saw her own island. After trying stand-up paddleboarding abroad, she came home in 2018 and started exploring the calm waters of Tanjung Rhu with her siblings and friends. At the time, boards were hard to find in Langkawi, so bringing the activity here took real effort. What began as a simple way to enjoy the sea slowly drew curious locals and visitors in. Today, she helps people experience Tanjung Rhu at a gentler pace, through quiet mangroves and peaceful water from the usual crowds.
