<p>With over 30 years in fencing, Nicholas started this club in 2023 after noticing that most fencing spaces in Singapore were built mainly for children. Adults who wanted to learn, train or simply enjoy the sport often had few places that felt comfortable or social. He set out to create a space just for them — with proper facilities, a relaxed setting and room to connect with other adult fencers. He sees fencing as both physical and thoughtful, often like a game of chess with swords, and wants more adults in Singapore to experience it in a welcoming, inclusive way.</p>
