Ngoc is someone who truly lives what she believes in. Based in Hanoi, she’s spent years finding thoughtful ways to reduce waste, from making bamboo toothbrushes to turning kitchen scraps into plant fertiliser. She’s also hands-on in her community, teaming up with groups like Keep Vietnam Clean to help tackle rubbish and promote greener habits. In 2025, she started welcoming travellers into a more down-to-earth side of Hanoi — offering the chance to make tofu the traditional way with a local family, using no additives and wasting nothing. It’s her way of keeping old crafts alive while gently showing how a more sustainable lifestyle can be simple, meaningful, and shared.
