Awarded as the best hotel in Phu Quoc in 2018 and listed in the top ten 2018 hotels worldwide by Northern European travel companies, Cassia Cottage is a place where guests can truly switch off and unwind. Cassia Cottage began as a spice trader’s private family retreat. The family scaled Vietnam’s northern mountains in search of cassia and trekked its southern jungles in pursuit of pepper. When they arrived at Phu Quoc, they discovered a palm-fringed paradise unspoiled by modernity. Years passed before guidebooks discovered Phu Quoc and when they did, the family began inviting the intrepid travelers for stay. Right from the beginning, Cassia Cottage recognized the responsibility of being part of the Phu Quoc community. They respect the local culture, support the local economy, and minimize their impact on the environment. The yoga will be guided by Sasha, passionate about all aspects of yoga and always willing to try something new, she has been teaching yoga since 2016 in Russia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. Never mind if you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, she customizes each retreat to the guests’ needs.
