Elizabeth, warmly known as Kaka Liz, is the friendly face behind Dapur Tara. Originally from Maumere, Flores, she started this heartfelt project in 2020. With a background in International Tourism and Hospitality, Kaka Liz blends her knowledge with deep roots in local culture. She's not just running a restaurant—she's also a traditional dance teacher, sharing the stories and rhythms of Flores with anyone willing to learn. Her vision for Dapur Tara goes beyond food; it's a space where culture, nature, and community come together in a relaxed and genuine way. What makes it special is how naturally Kaka Liz brings people into the world she grew up in, always with kindness and a welcoming smile.
