Janggut Rest House

Janggut Resthouse was built from a recycled shipping container by a local family in Sungai Janggut. The resthouse offers a spectacular sea view and tranquil atmosphere for guests who wish to take a break from the hustle-bustle. The owner also has broad knowledge about the ecology of the mangrove surroundings and fishing village; guests will surely learn a thing or two from him.

The 2D1N itinerary was awesome! The room is spacious and comfortable, the toilet is clean and the water pressure is great for showers. As we sleep facing the sea, we had the great opportunity to wake up to the sea breeze and the sight of fishermen catching fishes - it was incredible. The cafe next door was also awesome and the views at dawn and dusk were different and beautiful. The lemongrass water was refreshing and I hope the cakes are available the next time I visit!

Had a 2d1n trip with the fam. Love the cosy environment and welcoming hospitality. Felt so energized after the stay. Super appreciate rest house that provides memory foam pillows and most importantly clean bathrooms! The room we stayed had a lovely view of the sea. If not you could still chill and have a beer at the communal space upstairs
