Crochet journey with Leo and Stitch!
A couple of months back, I was unpleasantly greeted with a health scare and I had to make the tough decision to go on a career break from my corporate work to re-orientate my health. That period was full of introspection and reflection and in the meantime too, I wanted to learn something new. I signed up for a crochet workshop with my partner and ever since then, I was literally hooked! It is such a unique activity and what's best, you get to create something uniquely your own! What you can create is boundless! From amigurumi dolls, to beanies, and even blankets or clothes!
Crocheting has always been my happy place and has helped me to detach myself from my hectic work life. Through crocheting, I am able to get into this focused meditative "flow" state and disconnect myself from work anxiety and stress.
Since then, I've started my very own brand "Leo and Stitch" to teach home-based classes! Compared to the conventional classes, it is much much more intimate, and engaging. I also like to bring different groups of people together to learn the art of crochet in a safe, inclusive and conducive space to truly have a one-of-a-kind unique experience!
It is an amazing skill and I want to share this with you! As a bonus, you get to learn something new and take the chance to also create and produce something of your own for yourself or a lucky loved one! The best part is you do not need to have any form of prior experience! Newbies are more than welcomed!
