Jerry Reichart has been at the helm of SY Mawali since 2005, bringing decades of experience from both above and below the water. With a background in advanced diving and long-distance cruising—including a crossing from Australia to Sabah—Jerry knows these waters well. He now runs the yacht alongside his son and daughter, making it a real family effort. Based in Sabah and licensed by Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Jerry offers more than just a trip; it’s a chance to explore with someone who’s spent a lifetime on and in the sea. His calm, experienced presence and genuine connection to the region make time aboard SY Mawali feel easy, safe, and full of insight.
