This was a great and unforgettable experience in my life. When I went to the zoo as a child, I had the opportunity to witness this kind of experience in front of the eyes of some very serious animals. They gave us a good guide
We managed to stay over at Leopard Trails Yala over the past weekend and what a treat it turned out to be. We appreciated and valued every little thing from the point of pick up welcomed with nice cold towels to beat the mid day heat to the point of check out.
Arrival - The briefing given by camp Manager Pila and the explanation given on schedule & Yala by Dhanula was very refreshing and detailed.
Game Drives - We had 2 safaris and managed to experience the services of both Mr. Pila and passionate Dhanula. The information shared from a termite mound to identifying individual leopards was extraordinary and we certainly learned a lot. We wish them all the success and all the luck needed to continue to leopard project.
Apart from the services we absolutely loved the food served ranging from a local rice & curry (My Favourite) to a gourmet 9 course Sri Lankan treat served by the lake.
It was a fantastic experience to say the least! A big thank you to everyone - Dakshitha / Pila / Dhanula & our good friend Arun.
The service was personalized so my parents and I were in two adjoining tents. The dining staff prepared great vegetarian options for me. The tents were huge and nicely furnished and air conditioned. Our guide Dhanu did a great job finding wildlife in Yala for us -- the leopard was our favorite.
Five stars camping facility, very knowledgeable and courteous team. we saw all the park animals and enjoyed the wild nature effortlessly. Thanks Dhanula and the team for making our vacation so wonderful.
Spent two nights glamping at Leopards Trails. The accommodation is comfortable with food being plentiful and tasty. We were allocated a driver, spotter and guide, Hasanta, who were all very knowledgeable. With their combined experience and determination they ensured we got to see so much wildlife. Watching a leopard casually strolling to a waterhole for a late afternoon drink was a very special moment.
