Review Body: I absolutely loved diving with Divine Diving! In May 2019, I did a 4-day/3-night liveaboard and after that also three day trips with them, because I was so impressed by the underwater world in Komodo national park. Without exaggerating I can say that Divine Diving was the best divecenter I've ever dived with (so far I've dived with 12 different diveshops). The staff in the office were always so friendly and helpful, even for questions which were not about diving. Also with the instructors and divemasters I could not have been happier! I always felt very safe while diving with them, they were funny, caring and always kind and ready to answer all my questions. I was especially impressed by Juvens, my instructor on the liveaboard and on one day trip, who knows so much about diving and the marine life, made me feel safe during the dives at all times and just always had a smile on his face. I liked a lot that he pointed to many animals during the dives, so we didn't miss them. Also I was very happy that divemaster trainee Alejandro was diving with us on the liveaboard, he also made me feel very safe during all the dives and he was always ready to share his knowledge about diving, animals and biology with me. Last but not least I would like to mention instructor Hila, who is also very funny and kind. I never dived with him but we met in the diveshop and on the boat, got along very well and laughed a lot together :-)
Divine Diving offers a very good service, they gave me all the information about the liveaboard and the daytrips I needed, the crew on both boats was so friendly, the food was delicious and always enough for everyone (they even took care of my allergies and if necessary, cooked special food for me), they offer free water in the diveshop as well as on the boat, and they always set up the diving gear for us for every single dive (and when I asked for it, they let me do it by myself to practice). Another thing I liked about Divine Diving is that I got to know the owner Marij and the manager Luke, which so far rarely happened to me, I mostly 'just' got to know the office staff and the instructors and divemasters of the divecenters. And another very important thing: Divine Diving cares very much about nature and the marine life, they are an ecofriendly divecenter and have certificates which prove that they take a lot of care of our planet.
I returned back home with so many great experiences thanks to Divine Diving and I would definitely recommend them to everyone who wants to dive in Komodo national park. The liveaboard with them was one of the best things I have done in my live and I want to thank Divine Diving for that! :-) see you guys again on my next trip to Indonesia!

Review Body: We booked a 3 dive day drive with Divine having looked around at a few different shops in Labuhan Bajo. Being pretty inexperienced divers, having only completed our open water course and 4 fun dives, we really appreciated the honest advice on which dives sites would we best for us in the sting current waters of Komodo National Park. That as well as the enthusiasm and competitive price (1,650,000 for the day) drew us in. The boat was a perfect mix between comfort and practical - dive equipment down the bottom and comfortable beanbag area (sun and shade) upstairs. The crew were fantastic, the food delicious for vegetarians and meat eaters and there was water/ tea/ coffee available all day.
As for the dives... They were truly spectacular. We met divers with 25 years of experience who all said diving in Komodo is the best they have ever encountered - we were truly spoilt on the three dives we completed there! On the first dive, we visited ‘manta point’ and were so lucky to see 4 graceful manta rays as well as 2 black tip reef sharks and an eagle ray. During the second dive, we felt like we had been dropped into a scene from ‘Finding Nemo’! We were blown away by the pristine condition and sheer variety of coral in these stunning reefs. As we swam passed the colourful corals, we were in awe of the incredible array of marine life. On the third and final dive, we were amazed to see both green and hawksbill turtles ‘dance’ around us. We also saw: schools of black and yellow giant sweet lips, unicorn fish, bat fish, huge puffer fish, lion fish and hundreds of other incredible aquatic species! The currents in Komodo are exceptionally strong and only suitable for experienced divers in many sights so we are already planning a return trip to some of those one day!

Review Body: I have spent a few days in Labuan Bajo and I was exploring my options in terms of diving, speaking to a few diving centers. I only had 3 days left so I was unsure it was worth taking the open water certification then I met Tobbias from Divine Diving who convinced me it would be one of my best experience and he definitely was right!
I have spent 3 days with them and I can definitely say that on top of being very friendly they are very professional. I had dived before, both in Asia and in Europe and Juvens, my divemaster, is by far the one who made me feel the safest. He will make sure you will do everything at your pace and feel comfortable.
What I really liked as well is that when Divine team is taking you diving to Komodo park they actually give you a bit of background. They explain where the money is going, what the tourism situation is like in Flores and, more important even, how to behave when meeting wild animals. They are very involved in environment protection and I do feel this is something you have to care about, especially when you are a diver.
All in all when in Flores you should not even ask yourself whether you should go diving, go for it your mind will just be blown. There are quite a lot of diving centers offering similar packages at similar costs so you might just want to go with a professional and eco-involved one like Divine.
Flores is quite far from home but I am hoping to be back someday and why not have my advanced level there (and dive with the mantas this time!). Thank you again to the Divine team for this great experience and of course, a very special thank you to Juvens!

Review Body: The Divine Diving liveaboard was recommended to me by a friend and I wasn't disappointed! There were only 3 of us on the trip, which meant we had plenty of space on the boat - the cabins were really comfy and both the main deck and sun deck were well-equipped for relaxing. The food was great and plentiful and there was fresh fruit juice with every meal. The boat was well equipped with electricity, fans, freshwater showers, running water and towels.
The wetsuits had seen better days, but otherwise the equipment was good and the diving was great. The whole boat crew from captain to cook to dive professionals worked hard to make sure the trip was fun and ran smoothly.
Briefings were thorough (and Ito and Peter's drawings of the sites were pretty impressive!). We never felt rushed when prepping for dives and every dive was fun and safe. Although they asked us when they wanted to deviate from the original plan of dive sites, all of us were more than happy to trust their judgement to make the decisions as we trusted them to give us the best diving experience, which they did. Komodo has definitely been the best diving I've done!
Watching the flying foxes at sunset and visiting Rinca Island to see the dragons were great additions to the trip too.
There are extra costs for trekking, which I didn't feel were too clear on their website, but at the end of the day, you'd have to pay to do them anyway if they weren't part of the trip!
Would definitely recommend this trip!

Review Body: My wife and I came to Labuan Bajo for a break in the middle of our Bali honeymoon to check out the world famous scuba opportunities and decided to also fit in our Advanced Open Water certifications.
From the start it was very easy to handle payment and communication with the team at the shop from online - a 14 hour difference for us. They were the perfect amount of fun and relaxed while also serious about safety and learning for our course. The guys on the boat gave us very complete briefs before the dives, cooked great food, and broke us up into small groups so you always felt like it was a personal experience. There was another couple from the UK with an 18 month old child and the crew could not have been better with her.
A special shoutout to Ito who taught us for our two days - he was a very very good instructor and we feel completely prepared for the world of Advanced Open Water diving.
Finally, I'll just say that the diving was on par with the best we have seen (before this probably Belize) but took the crown when we caught a glimpse of a few Manta Rays. WOW - amazing.
Frankly, there's not much else to do in Labuan Bajo right now (It looks like that may change in the next few years judging by construction), but you could easily enjoy yourself at this shop with just diving and a few beers on your itinerary. Glad we found this shop.
5 stars - love you guys!

Review Body: I decided to do my divemaster for two months at Divine diving after a lot of emails and a long conversation with Luke. And I'm so happy I decided to do it with them. I really love divine. The people who work there feels like an extra family and Labuan Bajo feels like an extra home.
For me the environment is important and I like that Divine try to reduce their carbon footprint. For example they try to not use any single use plastic and they always pic up trash. They work together with a lot of NGO's and they try to influence other to also care about the environment.
In all their briefings they involve how to react to different animals and they would never let divers chase or harass any type of animal. They are also carful about the corals and would never use or let any other boat use an anchor that could destroy a reef.
Divine always put safety first. They dive in small groups and always make sure that you're comfortable and safe. They also make sure that the crew knows how to handle an emergency if something would happen which I think is very important.
Thank you to all the instructors, divemasters, the Naring-, office- and Weta Molas crew, Marij and Luke for making my summer to one of the best! Divine diving is beautiful company and I'm so happy I where able to spend a couple of weeks with you.

Review Body: I knew I wanted to do my open water somewhere in Indonesia. I had read and been told that diving around Komodo is some of the best in the world. So I chose Divine Diving - one of the companies that have been around the longest in Labuan Bajo. I didn’t know what to expect to be honest as I had signed up last minute the evening before via a phone call. When I got there I was so pleasantly surprised. Everybody in the entire place was so friendly and the atmosphere was great. Oh and we had plenty of coffee and water throughout the days there, it felt like home! Hila, my dive master, was incredible. I was nervous about the dives but he made me feel so safe and at ease. It’s so important to have a dive master who makes you feel comfortable and at ease underwater. He was happy to answer any question and he was a total joy to learn from! The other divers and I had formed such a nice group and Tobias and Sam were awesome to hang out with too. Super passionate about diving and super keen to know about how your experience is going. Honestly if you’re in Labuan Bajo and are deciding to do an open water, I’d say it’s so worth it. I had the best experience and saw so many amazing things: manta rays, reef sharks, turtles etc! And choose Divine Diving - the guys there are the best! I hope to be back! :)

Review Body: My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of doing a 4 day 3 night liveaboard to south komodo in April 2019. From the moment we checked in the day before the departure, to the moment we said goodbye to our wonderful dive master and instructor back at the shop, the experience was absolutely wonderful!
It was our first liveaboard experience and has really set the bar high for any future dive holidays we ever take! The boat was very comfortable and clean. There was plenty of room to lounge around in between dives and enjoy the scenery. The food was good EVERY SINGLE MEAL, and all the crew was not only helpful but friendly and made our trip that much more enjoyable.
Our dive instructor Ito was very kind, and was always very mindful of our group’s level of diving to make sure all the dives were safe and enjoyable. When my girlfriend’s mask had a problem with her strap on the first day, without us asking or hesitation he gave her his own personal mask for the rest of the trip to make sure she had a comfortable time. We could not have chosen a better dive operator and instructor for our first liveaboard and to complete our advanced open water certification with. The equipment we were provided was in good shape and had no issues. I can’t recommend divine diving komodo enough.

Review Body: Me and my husband been diving with Divine Diving for 3 days 2 night. It was awesome!!! The staff there took care of us reallyyyyy well!
We def did nothing during the cruise, beside the diving, eat and sleep! Once we woke up on the morning, there is Tarsi who will offer you a tea/coffee with some snacks, tide up the room, and all area around the boat, also after the dive he also served us snacks / meal.
And for the diving part, the staff always set the equipment up, what we did is just to put it on, and ready to go!!! Marten is our guide on that time, he is really good guide! Speak well english, funny and with Hito, they always explain us enough about the dive site before jump into the water. Marten spotted quite a lot of stuff to us! We've been lucky went with him!
As people who also worked in dive center for years, to see how you all take care of your guests, we give you all thumbs up guys!
It was quite short time for us, but hey no choice! The holiday always short! So next time we will comeback to you guys, again, to explore another dive sites around Komodo!!!
p.s Just a small detail, if you can let our equipment well dry before we pick it up, that will be great, our equipment quite smelly on that time as its so humid inside the bag.

Review Body: After looking at many a dive centre around Labuan Bajo to do our open water course, we were recommended by some hostel friends to look at Divine, and we weren't dissappointed. After having a great long chat with Tobi, who gave us all of the details about the course and answered all of our noob diver questions, we knew straight away that this was the best dive centre we'd come across in LB. Despite the fact that he had already finished work as it was after closing time, Tobi helped us sign up on the spot and even agreed to give us a discount since we were referred there by friends. The next four days were then some of the best of our entire trip through Indonesia. Our instructor Hila was very knowledgeable and experienced and by the end of the course made us feel confident and competent with all the skills and diving in open water. We were super pleased with the overall course and experience and would highly recommend diving with Divine. The lunch on board the boat was amazing, all of the staff really friendly and I couldn't think of a better way to have spent my birthday than diving with these guys. Thank you so much to all of the crew at Divine Diving!

Review Body: My boyfriend and I did the Open water course with Divine Diving and we loved it. The team is really friendly and the instructors are great, they have a good english and they make sure you understand everything they teach you. They're always for you if you have any doubt about anything related to diving and they will always try to make you feel comfortable and safe. We also got to go to beautiful diving spots with them where we could watch turtles, little sharks, beautiful fishes and coral reefs, the instructors have a really good eye for spotting cool animals.
I also loved that they cared a lot about the environmental impacts of diving so they were really careful about not hitting and damaging the reef and took the time to teach us how to avoid any accident of this kind. On the boat the team made sure we used reef safe sunscreen and if not they told us to apply the sunscreen to hours before diving in order to protect the ecosystem from those horrible chemicals. They had a plant based soap for our googles and separated bins for recycling whatever trash we had on hand.
For all the above reasons I fully recommend divine diving!

Review Body: Did a 4D3N liveaboard to Central and South of the Komodo islands on a boat for 8 divers called WetaMolas and it was the truly the best LOB experience of my life!! The marine life was nothing short of amazing, but what made the trip truly memorable were our divemasters Pether and Hila. They made the entire trip so enjoyable and they were absolutely comical we never had a dull moment. They never failed to keep everyone's spirits up and and somehow we always ended up in fits of laughter
I was with a group of 4 other friends and met 3 other divers on the boat who were all of different certification levels of diving but Pether and Hila made absolutely sure to keep an eye on each and every one of us. The currents in the South of Komodo were pretty strong and there was a moment during a dive when the current swept 2 of us almost out of sight from our divemaster but he quickly swam to our rescue and made a really good call to surface. Really so thankful we were so well taken care of!!
So glad we did the LOB with divine diving and I cannot thank the boat crew and divemasters enough for making this trip such an unforgettable one :))

Review Body: Highly recommendable non-luxury liveaboard! we did the 4 days/3 nights trip in central and north Komodo with the Liveaboard of Divine Diving. The diving was amazing! we had been to Komodo before (also with Divine Diving), but only did a daytrip back then. Now we went for the liveaboard and never regretted that. The dive guides (Juvens and Peter) were very professional and very flexible to accommodate the wishes of the divers on board, but in all cases it was safety first. Felt very comfortable diving with them.
The staff on board of the boat was great too, especially when one of us got sick, they took very good care of him. And lastly, the food was amazing. it is unbelievable what the cook could do in such a small cooking area.
Be aware: this is not a luxury liveaboard! But the price is also accordingly. And for us this was exactly what we were looking for! We like the more basic set up of the boat, and prefer good food much more than we desire a luxury room with own shower.
All in all: highly recommendable if you are looking for a non-luxury liveaboard with great staff and great food!

Review Body: Amazing 2 days with Divine Diving. I was diving and my wife was snorkelling. The diving and snorkelling are great and the boat is very comfortable. The crew prepared really nice food and were very helpful. We booked our trip in advance and Marij was very helpful over email. Luke was very helpful and nice at the office.
What makes this dive center so amazing is the crew. I had a great dive master, Fennen. He was very helpful, has great attention to detail and made sure we were comfortable throughout our experience pointing out the sealife on our bucketlist which we gladly shared with him before the dives. Same with Chris and the rest of the crew. It is very clear they do this because they love their job and the environment around Komodo. Furthermore, it is wonderful to see the great effort the team gives to protect the environment and protect the beautiful coral and sea life in the areas. The briefing before each dive were very detailed and accurate.
Thanks everyone at Divine Diving for such a great experience. Will be back :)

Review Body: Super pleased with the whole trip. First we were impressed with how organised the equiptment was at the dive shop - a good sign of a well run company. The boat crew and guides were amazing, every single one was really friendly (and very fun) yet took care and safety seriously, food was great and impressed even had recycling on board. We were blessed with a great group of divers that made the day perfect. We had a mixed boat of learners, qualified and advanced and it was so good to mix and see everyone catered for at the same dive sites in small groups. I could see the instructors taking great care of the ”newbies” and making them feel part of the group - would highly recommend if you are looking to get qualified.
The dive sites are fantastic and there is plenty of variety regardless of your expeirence (you may have read about strong currents) and they will look after you and make sure you dive within your ability.
There is so much amazing stuff to say, but all you need to know is go with this company!

Review Body: I have more then 80 dives, and i dived with a lot of diving companies and they were the best one I’ve ever dived with.
First and for most- there extremely honest. If the weather is not good- they will change the site. If the dive is too hard for beginners and you just started diving- they won’t take you on the boat. They don’t mess around with equipment, the crew is polite and very helpful, and they are very eco friendly. (Solar panels on the boat, no plastic bottles and so)
Secondly (but as important) - the dive instructors are pure professionals. The crew comes from all over the world, but one thing they have in comment is that they all know the sites to amezing detail and are masters of there craft. I want to single out Tiberius, our instructor- he was diving with me and my girlfriend, was extremely calm and super skillful underwater, and very knowledgeable about every little questions we had about the area.
Thank you so much for this great experience,
Until next time-
Yair (yaya) and Tahel

Review Body: I don't know where to begin. The center is THE most environmentally aware dive company I've ever been with. The people are incredible. Everyone has there own story, everyone has they're own quirks. I was lucky enough to spend time with all the Divine Diving family, and get to know them. That word, by the way, 'Family'. Yeah, that's apt.
I did my Dive master with them, and found them all to be patient, fun, and safe. I learned a lil' from everyone, and a Lot by the end.
The dive sites are the same no matter what company you go with. But Divine has a unique bunch of folk who can turn any dive into an undersea safari. They feed you well and keep you entertained on the boat too.
What's more, Beginners or advanced, they'll try and talyor your dives to suit. If photography is your game, they have an olympus TG5 you can rent. See if you can grab some pics of those Orangutan crabs or Black-tips, and all the fauna in between, or laugh at your failure with a beer or three in the office at the end.

Review Body: Did 3days/ 9 dives with divine. One of us was a returning customer.
The entire team was very professional. Throughout the 3 days, we were well looked after by the dive team and boat crew. The ferry was well maintained and we were well fed with snacks and lunch onboard. Prior to each dive, a briefing was conducted using sketches on a white board about the dive site, which I felt was very organised.
Sites visited were Sebayur Kecil, Tengah Kecil, Wainilu, Siaba Besar (aka turtle city), Mawan, Tatawa Besar and The North- The Cauldron, Crystal Rock and Castle Rock.
We were lucky to see Manta Rays at Mawan and The Cauldron and sharks at Tatawa Besar and Crystal Rock. Diving at the North was indeed an experience for us due to the strong currents. Really grateful to our dive instructors (Ito,Hila and Peter) who took great care of us and ensured our safety! And Juvens for his light hearted moment with us! It was indeed a divine experience diving with Divine Dive! :)

Review Body: As soon as I started to speak to the staff member when inquiring I felt at ease as he certainly knew his stuff and answered all my questions. I'm new to diving and had heard about some of the strong currents in that area, but he made sure that the trip I was on wasn't near the worst ones. He did explain that depending on the current we may have some drift diving but put my mind at ease on this. The whole process was very professional, after chatting they took me to get all my gear sized and showed me the quality of the gear i would be using. The day its self was awesum, 3 dives during the day seeing Stingray, Shark, and heaps of Turtles and of course the most amazing marine life and coral I've ever seen. The day went smoothly, not rushed with the correct time met between dives. Food was nice and the crew were professional but also a good laugh, we all got on like mates! Its not the cheapest of the dive centers in Flores, but I highly recommend them
