We just finished our trip after enjoying 11 beautiful days with Afkar visiting off the beaten paths in this beautiful country. Having never been to this part of the world before, we thought it best to try and see as much as we could in our short time there. Within an hour of contacting the company, I had a personal response from Aashik (Tour Coordinator). I was impressed with the suggestions he made for our trip, which was planned for us to visit Kandy, Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya, Ella and all other must visit tourist attractional places. We had arranged some of the usual things to do (tea plantations, elephant park, Galle fort, visiting some of the beautiful temples, experiencing amazing scenery) however when he talk to us, Aashik could see that we were very keen to experience as much of true Sri Lanka as possible. Additionally he arranged for us to go to Udawalawa safari park and have a traditional meal with a local family near the park. He arranged us to cafes and eateries where locals ate, rather than just being on the tourist route. The guide we had was very friendly and polite, He was very knowledgable about his country and explains us clearly

We were made to feel so welcome, and had such a wonderful experience.

Due to the strategic incident happened in Sri Lanka we are a bit scared to visit but with the company and with the words of Aashik which he said Sri Lanka was safe, we took our steps forward to the country with no fear and finally yes! Sri lanka is very safe with is high security where Tourists are warmly welcomed and enjoy their vacations with full satisfaction.

He was there, smiling, to meet us on arrival in Colombo Airport and did a great job driving us and making sure we were safe and happy every step of the way. We were even lucky enough to stay and taste the Real Srilanka Food with a beautiful Village Experience at Sigiriya. Our Kingfisher Tours consultant, Aashik, also regularly checked in on us via whatsapp throughout our stay.
 We enjoyed our very busy itinerary, which included safaris, white water rafting, a visit to a spa, treks, tea plantations, cycling, and a spectacular train journey to Ella. We ended our stay with some relaxing days at the beach. Dushantha consulted with us every day, seeking our thoughts about the plans for each day, which was great. He was always happy to assist and provide advice too.

Following the initial booking,the owner got in touch to confirm the transfer details and also offer further services,

we decided to book three more additional transfers to Sigiriya,Dambulla and Minneriya Jungle safari also reasonable priced

the vehicle is fully standard and the guide was polite and decent where we met a friendly service from him

we are really thankfull for arranging all our needs

I was driven the 4.5 hours from Colombo to Sigiriya by Thilina, my driver for the day. He's a respectable man, drives safe, and is very flexible (stops when requested for an additional picture or a meal).

Sigiriya is amazing, it's a long climb (my iPhone registered 45 floors!), and I recommend you pack a big bottle of water because it can get really hot!

The only drawback is that Thilina was only a driver, not a tour guide - his English was very basic, he didn't accompany me on the climb, and didn't really offer any history of Sri Lanka or tell any interesting facts.

Another negative point is that Thilina didn't have a good restaurant in mind, we just ended up looking around for one.

I have three recommendations for the tour company:
 1 - Give the drivers some knowledge of Sri Lankan history and interesting facts so that they can entertain the guests
 2 - Select a restaurant in advance for breakfast and/or lunch
 3 - Provide an estimated cost for entrance tickets and food
