2D1N Cruise (5-Star) | Bai Tu Long Bay **Wifi & Sauna on board (Sat Departures)

We absolutely loved our time in Ha Long thanks to La Regina. We had a free upgrade to La Regina Grand due to routine maintenance but we saw the Legend and it was also a very beautiful boat. I highly recommend this cruise, they're a new company and have put immaculate effort into making sure every detail is thought of. I was sick in the morning (my own fault, I got sliiightly too enthusiastic during happy hour the night before which was worsened by sea sickness) and was treated with absolute kindness. Mr. Dai himself brought me ginger tea to our room (as well as being kind Mr Dai, the cruise manager, is an ultimate organiser, leader, magician! kayak master and a creator of fine detail that makes the trip). The services and activities were perfectly timed. You could see lots of other cruises bunching up with activities but we were alone for all of ours and at perfect times of the day so photos were beautiful. Other cruises have reviews that say the activities were poorly timed or too short, ours were absolutely perfect.

We did the 3 day/2 night cruise on La Regina Grand, and it was really good. I read reviews on this site and others just beforehand, and some were so horrific that I must admit that I boarded with some trepidation. The negative comments I read did not match our cruise, however. The boarding process was very smooth and not ÔchaoticÕ, the food was incredibly good, and not Ôall the sameÕ, and the cabins stylish, spacious and spotless. It is winter now, and the world is panicking about Corona Virus, so there were not too many people on board. We did not do kayaking as I have a bad knee and would find getting into an out of the kayak painful and difficult, and of course it was too cold to swim. The staff are magnificent and could not do enough for us, the drinks were on the pricey side, but really not excessive. Mr An (Tom) and Mr Dai (Mr Big) looked after our excursions and were so pleasant and friendly. They really looked after me hobbling around, too, and made sure I was ok all the time. The day trip to Viet Hai village (only on the 3 day tour) was an absolute highlight. The evenings were quiet, with no loud music which some complained about, and the mornings began with Taichee led by the captain himself. It was a terrific 3 days and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The only negative thing I can think of is that at the stern of the boat was a frequent strong smell of diesel exhaust which tended to blow back into the public areas, particularly on the lower decks.

The cruise experience was fantastic ! The service from captain down to staff was extraordinarily great. Supervisor Dai was friendly with utmost politeness He took care of every needs of ours. I will recommend this cruise whole heartedly.

We spent 24 hrs with La Regina Cruises and had a wonderful time aboard their ship. The room accommodations were very nice with a large window and jacuzzi tub. A nice variety of plentiful food. The staff were exceptional and I canÕt say enough positives for their professionalism and friendliness. In particular, Ms. Hoa was amazing as our cruise director! She kept us informed throughout the trip and had a wonderful sense of humor which made the entire trip very special.

Highly recommend an overnight cruise with this company. Our ship was the the Royal Kings and The staff were so friendly and welcoming with the Cruise Leader Ho A exceptional with helpful information throughout and a great sense of humour. Food and facilities very good. The only slight negative was the loud music in down time and the choice but turned down on request.
