My hubby and I have a fabulous time with the kayak fishing trip down at Sentosa which was fuel with so much newfound knowledge, fun, lovely chats and wonderful memorable experience on last Friday! Raveen - our guide was exceptionally patient, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and generous with sharing his knowledge about the nature and surrounding and often keeping a close look-out, guiding and encouraging both my husband and I along with the whole kayaking fishing journey very pleasant and memorable. We would highly recommend this pleasantly relaxing, fabulous, mind-blowing, and memorable kayak fishing experience who enjoys appreciating some quietness and nature a try. Review Body: Our guide Yi Shen was a great tour guide and shared stories about Sentosa and the surrounding islands all through the trip. The fishing kayaks were super easy to paddle and we ended up catching at least 3 fish each during the trip. A really memorable experience for my kids.

Review Body: This kayak fishing trip was the highlight of our Singapore experience. If you really enjoy fishing and never did kayak fishing, then you don’t even need to read this review: it’s a must do! If you are hesitating here are our top 5 reasons why you should: #1 - Really nice for groups of all ages: We went as a group of 4people: Me and my bro we are 30/33 years old. And our parents are 60 & 70 years old. #2 - Great for beginners or experts: We all really enjoyed it and the level of fishing skills doesn’t change anything. Aaron was always here to advice and help my mum, and we could enjoy our fishing too, we all caught some! Don’t be afraid not catching anything, Aaron has a sonar and knows where are the fish! #3 - The fishing gear and kayaking with your feet is amazing! If you have never tried, this gives you a lot more power so you can go further and quicker. I feels a lot more safer to. It’s a lot easier, so doing this for 4hours was really possible without any burden. Was a bit of sport, but our 70year old father-smoker-not sportive did it and enjoyed it, so don’t worry. But most of all, it gives you freedom as you fish! #4 - You just need to bring your sunglasses as Aaron had everything: bait, several fishing rodes(even broke one), talkie walkie to speak to each other (best part), beer if thirsty, and he has a Sonar, so he knows where are the fish !! #5 - You’ll have a one of its kind views of Singapore: You probably know plenty of amazing views in Singapore but this one is unique as you can’t see it without a kayak. Fishing in the middle of the sea or islands with Singapore behind: priceless. Guess what? Aaron is also a really good photographer and will take really nice images of you in action too! Aaron is the most passionate, kind, resourceful and attentive guide we had in years. Always telling you about what is happening around you or under you, in the water. You can go safely. Review Body: This tour was very well planned and executed: seasick pills were offered right at the start, walkie talkies attached to our life jackets for ease of communication, Free-flow bait; all we had to do was bring ourselves, sunscreen and water! Kayaks move about via foot paddle, freeing your hands for what you signed up for: Fishing! While it wasn't my first time fishing, it was for my other friends. Aaron expertly directed us to a number of fishing spots, peppering the tour with handy tips and in no time we were reeling in the fishes! We never seemed to stay in a spot for long but we somehow still managed to catch enough fish to fill the chiller bag way before it was time to head back to shore! Throughout the tour, Aaron was extremely vigilant towards our group, shuttling btw the 2 kayaks more times than I could count. Snagged lines were expertly dealt with and replaced promptly when necessary. Constantly reminding us to re-apply sunscreen; helping to unhook the caught fishes for those afraid to handle live fish, guiding us on how to remove the hooks quickly. He even went as far as to prepare refreshment (in the form of beer and coconut water) & plastic bags to bring our catch home! Needless to say, we enjoyed the freshest fish in Singapore that evening. I must say i am tempted to try the island hopping tour, this time with more water, sunscreen and a cooler bag of our own to keep the fish nice and chilled on the way home! Review Body: Firstly, it doesn't matter whether you're a local or a foreigner, you will definitely bring back something new from this experience (and I don't mean the fish!). As a Singaporean, I was so amazed to learn about this whole other marine universe lying at the bottom of our endlessly reclaimed seas. While the two tourists in our group were clearly more experienced with kayak fishing, it was fun to see them get up close and personal with new species that they would not find back home. Secondly, having Aaron and Yi Xuan as our guides was extremely reassuring. Aaron was upbeat and clearly passionate about what he does, while Yi Xuan was helpful and responsible. They taught us whatever we needed to know about fishing, dropped fun facts, cracked jokes, encouraged us when morale dropped, monitored our welfare and were always able to manage their participants. Last but not least, a major shoutout to Yi Xuan for taking care of me when I got seasick! He handled my situation very professionally and I was glad to have such a knowledgeable guide to calm me down in that moment whilst engaging with my partner. Before this, I had neither fished nor kayaked more than 100m out to sea. But after this session, I not only gained a newfound appreciation for marine life and the fishing community, I am also seriously contemplating picking up a new hobby.

Review Body: This is a much overdue review but due to work I couldn't get down to write this earlier. I booked a trip with Aaron of Fever.sg for 3 of my colleagues and I in July 2020. It was the first time I tried kayak fishing and Aaron really made it a fun, enjoyable and good learning experience. He provided excellent service and prepared everything for us. Including fishing rods, baits and life jackets. All we needed to do was to board the kayak at the beach. I've been to many fishing trips on chartered boat fishing but I have to say Aaron is the best. When our fishing line was stuck or cut, he would immediately come over to help and to tie new lines for us and he tirelessly brought us to new spots and was very engaging which made the whole trip very lively and interesting. He shared much information and taught us how to read the current and tides and provided much advise knowing that we were keen to continue kayak fishing on our own. If you have never tried kayak fishing or thinking about it then DON'T HESITATE! Contact fever.sg for an unforgettable experience of fun and excellent service and good attitude. Review Body: I went on this outing with my 12 year old son and we had a blast! The guides Nat and David we helpful, fun, knowledgeable and energetic - I truly feel like I now know how to fish and I was basically a novice prior to this trip! They were committed to ensuring everyone caught something and our group as whole has a lot of luck - lots of big fish and even a small shark! David and Nat knew all about the types of fish and Singapore history, and using sonar they located the most fruitful fishing spots. A fantastic family outing we will definitely remember and recommend to all our friends! My son still talks about it weeks later. Tip: definitely bring lots of sun protection and water. My son refuses to wear hats usually and then eventually caved in and borrowed one of the guides hats -ha! I would say that 10 is the youngest age that is suitable for this excursion (lots of paddling, patience, focus and exposure to the sun - although the guides said we were out on one of the hottest days)

Review Body: Girlfriend planned this as a birthday surprise for me because she knows I love fishing. It was an amazing experience! Aaron is an excellent guide - a wonderful combination of being knowledgeable, warm and engaging, pleasant and very clear with instructions. He definitely knows his stuff, everything was well-prepped and ready for us, and with his guidance we were both able to snag more than a few fish each (the two largest tasted real good later in the day at home). We both had a wonderful time, and I definitely appreciated the thoughtful surprise birthday gift from him of a nice hooded fishing jersey. We're already talking about planning a return visit with more friends in tow this time, as we had so much fun and can't wait to share that with our friends. Highly recommend this if you enjoy being out on the water, catching some fish in a fuss-free way, learning lots and just having a great chill time in general. 🙂

Review Body: This is my first (and definitely NOT the last), fun and memorable experience with kayak fishing. Highly recommended for all! A few days before, our guide, Aaron, was thoughtful enough to email us details regarding the trip and a few tips on things to prepare such as motion sickness pill, and sunblock, for a more enjoyable experience. On the actual day, we were headed straight to the sea after a short safety briefing, with all the equipment set up beforehand by our guide. We were brought to a few different fishing spots in the vicinity with both amazing views of Singapore as well as high frequency of bites. We manage to catch a few fishes with the guidance of our guide. There was never a dull moment during the trip especially with such a fun guide with us. Other than being a good guide, Aaron is also a brilliant photographer, where he helped us capture our fishing moments throughout the trip.

Review Body: What a great activity to do for yourself, a couple of mates, even a family. Myself who is a semi regular fisherman and my partner who isn’t both enjoyed every moment of it. This is a awesome way to experience a different side of Singapore not everyone gets to see. The tour guides make you feel so relaxed and safe. We knew we were going to be given a lot of fishing information but was a lovely surprise to get informed through out the tour of interesting facts about Singapore. This trip was a massive highlight of our holiday and 100% recommend this. You get given all the equipment and even a beer at the end! Can’t wait to come back next time and do this again. Review Body: Had to drag ourselves out of bed at the unearthly time of 6am on a Saturday, wondering if it was worth the effort. 6 hours, 4 sore legs and 12 fish later, we can definitely say that it was! Aaron was very patient, and good fun as well, giving us the unvarnished truth about Singapore - don't believe a word of what he says. He will give you bait seasoned with secret ingredients to catch all the smallest fish around. Only kidding, we got a whopper of a fish (spotted sweetlip?) that took both of us to haul up, and it tasted great - all thanks to Aaron's expert guidance and cooking tips. Friendly advice: for the Island Hopper, you may want to have breakfast before you set off!

Review Body: Came here for Singapore’s F1 weekend and wanted to do some fishing in Singapore. I’ve never explored the mangroves before, so I was psyched when I saw an option to fish and explore the mangroves at the same time! Fishing in the mangroves was amazing, I got to see so many of Singapore’s wildlife. I spotted the mudskippers, the eagles, the king fishers and a huge monitors lizards. I was taught how to anchor fish and also how to do drift fishing, I landed about 4 medium sized fishes in total. Finally, I love that it is a private tour, I got the full attention of an expert guide to myself! I’ll highly recommend this to anyone that wants to try a new and fun way to fish!

Review Body: I was guided on an Island Hopper tour by Aaron. As a reasonably experienced kayak fisherman, I found the tour really enjoyable. It was my first time in a Hobie/pedal kayak and it was a real eye opener. Some great views of the islands and Sentosa. It wasn't my best fishing session ever in terms of fish caught, but coming from Australia, I am familiar with some great fishing. However, Aaron's personable manner and attention to detail was outstanding and made for a great experience. Bottom fishing was a new thing for me and it was interesting getting Aaron's pointers along the way. It is well worth considering a trip, especially if you haven't fished from a kayak before!

Review Body: I love kayaking and I love fishing. I never knew Kayak Fishing was a thing, but it might be my new favorite thing. The whole experience was awesome from the friendliness and expertise of the guides (shoutout to Aaron and David!) to the wonderful weather we had and the excitement of successfully catching fish. The pedal kayaking itself is a great workout, and you stop to take a break every once in a while to fish. I was really lucky and caught 7 total fish, 5 different species. We had some friends who were completely new to both fishing and kayaking and they also caught a lot of fish. I can't wait to do this again and try a more difficult route! Thanks guys!

Review Body: My son and I are avid fishermen and jumped at the chance to experience this in Singapore and on the ocean. What a great day. Nothing beats being out on the ocean and the thrill of catching fish, even though the fish may be small. We loved it! Super active, very organised - walkie talkie contact with the guide all the time, which made it so much fun to engage and talk about all sorts of things and getting tips. Our guide was excellent - big thumbs up to YX!! Highly recommended for kids in their teens. The kayaking is a solid workout, if you enjoy being active. We'll for sure be back.

Review Body: As good as it looks on the website and as good as all the other reviews say! Went out Nov 2019. Kayaks and kit were really good and everything was set up when I arrived at the meeting point. I've fished before so brought a little bag of kit but didn't use anything - only needed sunbloc, a hat and a spare change of clothes for later. The kayak was surprisingly quick and easy to pedal. Aaron was the perfect guide - friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Caught and released about 8-10 fish. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back again.

Review Body: For someone with no experience in fishing, what more on a kayak, this experience has brought excitement to another level. The time on the waters was an amazing one, especially with Aaron as our knowledgeable guide. Aaron took care of us and made our session very casual and comfortable, engaging us fully throughout the 4 hours. The best part of it was that my husband and I caught almost 10-15 fishes, although small, the feeling was great! Review Body: The scenic view, wonderful guide Aaron and the comfortable kayak made this a really fun experience! Our group of 4 had a rolling good time not just fishing but also having fun conversations and learning new stuff from our guide. His professional pics came in soon after the event day as well. One important point is get seasick pills and have plenty of citrus fruits, drinks available. As Aaron mentioned, he felt closer to me after swimming through my 'Merlion contribution' to the sea. LoL. Only the privileged ones get such a chance...
