This is a join-in kayaking experience with Clarence or his team. Clarence is an award-winning guide who has been kayaking and exploring lesser-known parts of Singapore since he was 13!The best part about this experience is that instead of taking the usual tried-and-tested kayak routes, Clarence and his team have explored and charted far-flung locales in Singapore that most people haven't heard of. Think of it like an omakase-style (i.e. leave it up to your guide) kayaking experience! So you can avoid the crowds, and feel like you're discovering new land without needing to travel overseas. They are also beloved for their hot-cooked lunches prepared in the great outdoors, and really nothing tastes better! It's usually a 4-6km route, and suitable for all levels of kayakers (even beginners). This option is suitable for kids 3 years old and above and is pet-friendly (so long as your pet can fit in the kayak). As a value-add The Unexpected offers on all its experiences, your guides will take photos of your experience and share them with you after (free-of-charge), so it's very Instagram-friendly too!Route DetailsThe kayaking routes are different week-on-week: Routes are chosen based on the tides for the day, to make sure that you can venture deeper into rivers and see as much as you can. We like to think of it as an omakase-style kayaking experience! You can see pics of routes on their Instagram @ https://www.instagram.com/ninja.kayakers.foilersIf you would like to know your route in advance, please do get in touch with us - but just a warning that they may change depending on the weather / tides! Time SlotsThis kayaking experience takes place between 9am to 1pm (and includes lunch). The scheduled dates are different each week so do check the calendar in the booking form to see the available scheduled dates!Pet-FriendlyThis is pet-friendly so long as your pet can fit in the kayak. Pets up to 30kg and full-sized Goldies have fit in the kayak, so it's up to the pawrent's discretion what is comfortable for them and their pet. (Pet life vests are not provided).Kid-FriendlyThis option is suitable for kids 3 years old and above. Important NotePlease note this activity requires a minimum of 6 people to go ahead. If the minimum requirement is not met, the session may be postponed to another mutually agreed date. We will let you know if the requirement is not met within 72 hours of the tour date.Available routes :Secret Sentosa (3.5km) IG: #NKsecretsentosaSecret Mangrove Lake (5.5km) IG: #NKsecretmangrovelakeKetam Kelong (6.5km) IG: #NKmysteriousriversChangi Creek (3.9km) IG: NKchangicreekNorthern Wilderness (4.0km) IG #NKnorthernwildernessRiver to River (4.1km) IG #NKrivertoriver

Overall a really fun trip. The boats were well maintained and rather confortable. The route was quire interesting and we were allowed some free and easy time in the mangroves. Guides were really friendly. Really enjoyed the part where they started cooking the food on the kayak itself! The taste of the food could be better but I didn't expect that much from a camping meal.

Very fun trip, Clarence is very knowledgeable about bees and nature. Took my wife there for her birthday and she loved it. I just wish there were separate booking categories for adults and children - of course kids should be able to experience this too, but it would make the experience perfect to have separate kids-focused and kids-free groups if booked far enough in advance.

We are a group of 5, for 26 Feb 2023, short of 1, maybe the guide can be included to the minimum 6 pax requirement? Haha. Could we seek for your leniency to proceed?

Hi! What if it rains? Would the kayak be rescheduled? I have 2 x 20kg dogs with 2 humans, are we all allowed on one kayak or have to split ?
Hi Michelle, for safety reason we would split into two kayaks. Hope it helps :)
Do you offer children prices? We have a 5 year old and twins 7 year olds, and a 12 year old.
Adults & children's price are the same :)
Hi! Under the important notes it states that it requires min 6 pax for the activity to proceed but there is also a min 2 pax req. Can i confirm if the min pax is 2 or 6? Would like to minimise the likelihood of rescheduling 🤭
Hi Jovin, apologies for the confusion. It means this activity requires a total of 6 pax minimum per session to proceed with the booking on that day. And it requires a min. of 2 pax per booking. Hope these help! :)
