This trip is perfect for folks looking for after-work fishing activity and also an ideal kayak fishing trip for anyone who dislikes burning up in the Singapore sun. As the sun sets and night falls, the seabed becomes a hive of activity from the bigger predatory fishes. They start hunting for the smaller fishes amongst the nooks and crannies of the coral reef. Big fishes like Mangrove Jack, Barramundi, Grouper and even Shark lurk below your kayak! You will be using larger bait like Tanbam and Shrimp to target these fishes. Each kayak is equipped with a marine navigation light visible from more than 2 nautical miles away. On top of that, you are also equipped with a waterproof headlamp, so you can see everything around you. There will be an adventure photographer, capturing photos as your souvenir!Fishing Experience: Beginner & Intermediate Physical Difficulty: EasyOverviewRoute: 4-7 kmDuration: 5 hoursStart Time: 6.00pm

We had a great experience with Fever. Our guide, Amos, Matt and Charlotte were very helpful, knowledgeable and really took effort to entertain the kids abd making sure we are safe. Even adults learn all the different fish species that we have caught, really a great exposure for for both young and old to reconnect and bond with nature and each other😊

Aaron and Yi Xuan were fantastic guides who were always there to teach and lend a helping hand. The experience overall was a fun and rare one; its not everyday you get to fish, and its not everyday you get to paddle-kayak, but here you get to do both!

Helpful Questions from Our Community

Q
Hi, Our family of five is interested in this. But why no slots on sat n Sundays till even next year? Thanks,
A
Hi Hong Yee, This activity only available from Monday to Thursday only :)
Q
What is the best place for kayaking in Singapore?
A
You can kayak at MacRitchie Reservoir, Pasir Ris park and many other places in Singapore. But if you're looking for something more special with more beautiful scenery, Pulau Ubin is our favourite place for kayaking! There you can kayak amidst the mangroves (very Lord of the Rings!), see kelongs (floating fish farms), and if you're lucky you may also spot otters and herons! It's the most atmospheric place in Singapore for kayaking as you really feel like you're completely immersed in nature.
Q
Can a beginner do kayaking in Singapore?
A
Yes! Kayaking is pretty easy and it doesn't require any training/knowledge, so it's a great activity for beginners! You don't need to be very fit as well - you can just take your time and go leisurely at your own pace to enjoy nature! You should be able to swim, or if you can't swim you should be comfortable with a life jacket in the water. If you are looking for an easier way to kayak, we would also recommend trying leg-paddled kayaking. It's less strenuous (you don't need to paddle!), and it also frees you up to enjoy the gorgeous scenery around you.
Q
What do you wear for kayaking in Singapore?
A
Wear a hat, light long-sleeve shirt and trousers (to protect from the sun!), and closed-toe shoes. You should also bring sunblock, a water bottle and a waterproof bag (a zip-lock bag will do!) to keep your phone and valuables in.
