The instructors are the best professionals and such a nice people!! and Mac, the manager, is an angel. Good vibes and top profesional. I was going initially to take 2-3 classes and finally I spent my 3 weeks vacation surfing and enjoying with them every day! amazing experience! Highly recommended.
I booked two sessions with the school, and have to say the booking process was really efficient. The school replied to my emails promptly and made things really easy!
The lessons themselves were great! My instructor, Kadek, was really experienced, patient, and let me progress at my own pace (while providing tips and encouragement along the way). It was a great couple of lessons -- I managed to stand up and even catch a couple of green waves.
Would highly recommend!

We booked three semiprivate lessons and that was enough to fall in love with surfing. The teachers were super nice and good at what they do. We learned the basics quickly and got some good waves, and the teachers gave good feedback on how to improve. Can’t do anything else than just recomend!

I have never surfed in my life before, but I’d always wanted to try. I contacted the school and was offered a week-long beginner’s package of six days (with one rest day in-between, chosen by me when I wanted to take it) with two 2 hour sessions each day.
I hadn’t really considered how much work two sessions per day would be and before I went on my trip some folks told me I was crazy for going for it, so I was a bit apprehensive before starting. But, I decided to keep the booking as is. Turns out, there was absolutely nothing to worry about, because the folks at Infinite Wave know what they’re doing!
What struck me first is that each session was planned based on the most up-to-date conditions that would be good for me to learn on. This meant I would get a breakdown of where each session would be a day before and wherever I was taken I had great opportunities to improve on my surfing skills. Of course, some days nature gives us more frequent waves, but whatever the day, you could tell that they really tried their best to ensure you’ll get to go at a time and place that will be of benefit to your learning. In fact, one of the days I was booked for there were only good conditions for one session so we agreed on me taking one more day to have that session when the conditions were better at no extra charge—incredibly flexible and considerate folks!
My initial goal during this trip was to be able to stand up on the board. If I managed to do that at least once in the week I was learning, I was going to be happy. Not only did I stand up, but thanks to some wonderful instructors I managed to do that numerous times during my very first session! I obviously had to adjust my goalpost soon after that, but over the course of the week I built a lot more confidence and found myself riding waves out with control and was even able to get a bit playful. Just by listening to my instructors notes and observing them I felt my knowledge expand greatly to the point where I now feel like I could even go out by myself in some moderate waves and catch a few unassisted. I’ve built a solid base that I feel I can work from to continue improving in the future which I honestly did not expect in such a short time.
I had two instructors throughout my time here: Kadek and Yudika. Both instructors were absolutely fantastic. They provided gentle and constructive feedback that they slowly layered on in a way such as to never overload you with information. Listening to the simple corrections felt like it would always get you a step further until you’re suddenly catching wave after wave and feeling great doing it. They were also always ready to accommodate you in whichever way you may need depending on your energy levels and ability. I’d mentioned before that I was worried that two sessions per day would be too much (based on others’ reactions), but thanks to my instructors I always had opportunities for breaks whenever I needed them and gentle nudges to continue whenever I was likely ready to start again. I was continually challenged and pushed in a really safe and constructive way. I even got some homework that I’m taking back home and will try to practice on dry land until I get a chance to surf again!
All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Infinite Wave. Thanks to them I’ve found a new activity that I absolutely adore! It also allowed me to catch a glimpse of the surfers’ paradise that is Bali and the Balinese warmth that I kept hearing about prior to my travels certainly shined through in every part of my lessons from the first greeting to my bittersweet goodbye. I’m going to miss these folks!
We had a great time learning to surf with Infinite.
All instructors qualified and nice people. We had 4 lessons in our little family group, and we were very satisfied with our instructor Yudika.
We think we can now go surfing on our own and hope to see some waves the last days here in Bali!
