The experience was very personal and inspiring! We have enjoyed listening to and discussing with Wayan about his conservation effort, meeting the team and learning about what is being done and cooking with the family to learn about local food! Fabulous experience which I would highly recommend.

My family has such a wonderful experience at the firefly night safari. Wayan's son led my kids through the family farm learning about edible plants and fun "mini-games" you can create out of leave and grass. A wonderful way to get kids excited about nature! The kids got to help cook a dinner of traditional village food, talked to biologists about the conversation project and released new fireflies into the wild. It was both an educational and awe-inspiring experience. Highly recommend!

This was a magical experience and i got to know so much more about fireflies! I hadnt seen them for years and Seeing them here brought me back to my childhood❤️ Its so inspiring to hear how passionate the people here are about the project, the heart and soul thats poured into it is felt. If you want a unique experience and support the project of bringing back the fireflies I can not recommend visiting this place enough! I also loved the cooking together!

Visiting Rumah Konservasi Kunang Kunang was an unforgettable experience that gave us deep insight into Indonesian culture and true hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly and made to feel like part of the family.The experience was not only enriching for us as adults but also deeply engaging and educational for our young children (ages 2 and 5). They learned and discovered so much about nature and local traditions in a way that was fun and memorable.The food was absolutely wonderful – authentic Indonesian dishes prepared with care and flavor that told a story of tradition and love. Communication was easy thanks to the excellent English skills of our hosts, and their readiness to help with any request made the stay even more enjoyable.A special thank you to Krishna for kindly bringing us back – your generosity and warmth made a lasting impression.
