This tour was quite different from anything else we did in Bali. You get to really see and experience the nature, and specifically the efforts the locals make to retain Bali's natural Beauty. Having learned just how delicate the Firefly lifecycle is, you get a real appreciation for the conservation efforts made here. But beyond being educational, the experience is also fun. You get to help cook local meals, learn about rural life and then enjoy your delicious food. It's a hidden gem

We had a wonderful visit to the Firefly Conservation Lab learning about the importance of repopulating these amazing insects. We were lucky to see fireflies in a rice field with one in my hand. Fireflies eat mosquitoes, so what's not to love! The whole family is dedicated to the cause and everyone has a role including the cookery demonstration and delicious meal we ate.

Unique and amazing experience! I went during the season of turtle release and saw turtles hatching from the incubation beds they have. As part of giving back, there was an opportunity for cleaning the turtle tanks too. At the end of it, I had the privilege of releasing a little one back into the ocean. Do support them in their conservation efforts!

Highly recommended for all dogs lover! Renata and Niken were great hosts who shared passionately about the Bali dogs that are cared for them, and the need to spread awareness of the threats these dogs currently face.
We ended with a walk along Seminyak beach, and the dogs truly enjoyed themselves!

Wayan, Krishna + family were so incredibly welcoming. Their devotion to trying to protect the fireflies is beautiful, using their own land and family farm alongside the cooperation of neighbouring farms, this was such an incredibly wholesome experience from start to finish. The home cooked food was absolutely delicious and so generous. I could not rate this more highly, they are very knowledgeable about the fireflies and the commitment to their safety is a beautiful thing to see. We learned so much and are so grateful to Wayan and his family for sharing this with us.

I loved this experience. It was totally unique and included a visit to the on-site lab, being shown around the extensive family farm, helping to make (a very delicious) dinner - and then eating it! And finally seeing the fireflies in the rice paddies. Everything was brilliantly run and it was an exceptional evening all round.

Krishna, and the research team did a fantastic job of showing us the beautiful family farm and telling us about the fireflies and the conservation effort.
My wife and I loved every part of this experience, the walk around the farm, helping in the kitchen and showing us the lab and life cycle of the fireflies
There are so many interesting aspects to the farm ! Sorry for all the questions guys 🤣
The food was absolutely delicious!
We have being coming to Bail for 13 years and this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. I lool forward to following the progress with the fireflies and hope to return next time we are in Bali !
