This experience was 10/10. We wanted to do a sunrise hike but we felt that Mt Batur was a bit too intense for us, so we opted for this hike instead and it was very good. It took us around an hour to get to the top and our tour guide Denis was very patient and helpful with us (we needed a lot of brakes). The top of the mountain was magical and tranquil. Definitely recommend!

Our guide Ari was very knowledgeable, she made sure we felt safe trekking in the dark and made us a great breakfast at the top of the mountain! The meeting point was well organized and easy to find, I would definitely recommend this experience!

I had such a wonderful experience on the Batur Caldera hike! The view was absolutely breathtaking — we could see four mountains and had a direct view of the sunrise. Our guides, Kadek and Wi, were amazing — very friendly, helpful, and confident. As locals who know the area extremely well, they made me feel completely safe and at ease throughout the hike. This isn’t the classic Mount Batur hike, which makes it even more special. The spot we visited is privately owned by the team, so we were completely alone at the top — no crowds at all! They even set up small tables for us to sit comfortably and enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise. It was such a peaceful and magical moment. A special shoutout to Wi, who’s also a fantastic photographer — he captured some truly beautiful photos! Overall, it was an amazing and unique experience. I loved learning about local life and stories from our guides. The mountains and Lake Batur are simply magical. Highly recommended! 🌄✨
