Outstanding bike trip to get into real life of people in Bali!
Great nature and food also - I recommend Greenbike Adventure a 100%!!

Mt Batur Trek and Lake Batur Boat Ride sunrise hike was well beyond our expectations. The group size was 5 people and it really felt a private tour. Our trek guides, boat captain and driver (Yosi) were all competent, pleasant and very helpful. It was one of the best tours I have ever had. The trek takes about one hour to the top. It is a bit challenging due to the rocks and loose sand, but it is manageable. The award awaits at the top where you get a simple breakfast and a wonderful view.

The bike tour was very well organized. I have been to Bali many times, but I have never experienced so much on a tour. Biking itself is easy, views are great and our guide Wayang (I believe he was also called Weco) was wonderful, providing lots of interesting facts and taking good care of the group. The group size of 4 adults and 2 kids was very convenient as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience - excellent guide taking us across the lake and up the mountain - it was just us (family of 4) in the group, and only a handful of other people at the top. It felt really special and we got the views all to ourselves - saw the 4 volcanoes. We saw the many torch lights on Mount Batur and were very glad that we had our own private viewpoint! The ginger tea and simple breakfast delivered by a lady carrying everything on her head also hit just the right spot. Highly recommend this experience!

We loved this experience and can recommend it. Far nicer to welcome in the sunrise iover multiple volcanoes on our own, rather than with hordes of other hikers :-). You're actually on the outer rim of the original Batur volcanoe, whereas most hikers are on the newer volcano ("baby Batur").
We stayed in Desa Occulus in Kintamani and so had only a short trip (15 minutes) to the boat, meaning we had a slightly later start than those travelling in from Ubud and other areas, which I would recommend.
It was quite chilly on the boat, so I would recommend dressing in layers. Once you start up the hill, you warm up quickly!
Our guide was lovely, but had a tendency to hop up the mountain like a mountain goat. He reacted well when we asked him ( a few times) to slow down. As it was, the hike up took less than an hour, despite frequent breaks. It is, however, a bit of a challenge for the knees on the way down. Please bear in mind that the path is narrow, quite overgrown and steep (not a gentle stroll).
This is the only trip we booked over an international website rather than locally and was more expensive than anything else we booked locally. If I did this again, I would find a local guide. This is generally simple - just ask at the hotel, they always know someone - and far cheaper, beside ensuring that all the money stays with the locals.

Our guide Wi and driver Yosi were friendly and knowledgeable. Yosi drove safely and got us to our destinations on time. Wi led us up the mountain trail expertly and had a wealth of knowledge about the natural history and culture of the area. He even helped us take pics and video. Ginger tea and breakfast were simple but tasty. The summit only had three groups. Sunset was spectacular and we did the Truyan add on which was interesting but not for everyone as it is a cemetery. We were able to add a lunch stop to a local Babi Guling Warung before heading back to our hotel and that was much appreciated. Thank you for a memorable day for my family of four (tween, teen and us)

Very good service. Nice sites with not too much traffic. We loved it and even booked another tour.
