Awesome experience. First we had the most delicious lunch and then we took a tour of the wonderful herb garden at Dapur Tara. Both were great experiences and totally worth the trip!

Had the best time with Kak Liz! She’s so inspirational and the you can tell that the food she cooks have so much soul and flavour. I love her garden tour where she explains her processes and their way of life. This was one of my highlights for our Labuan Bajo day trip!

We did this experience after our Komodo boat trip. Did NOT think anything in Labuan Bajo could top Komodo, but here we are - I'd say I almost enjoyed this more than the boat trip!
Kak Liz was so warm and welcoming - like I could feel her energy the moment we stepped in. The whole experience was so wholesome, food was amazing in a way that you can taste all the ingredients, so flavourful without alot of seasoning. We enjoyed 3 drinks too, coffee/tea, jamu, and a local spirit called the sopi - all from the garden! And the garden tour too was lovely. I'm not usually crazy about garden tours, but she encouraged us to take off our shoes while walking (for some grounding!) and that was just such a nice touch somehow.
And honestly, Kak Liz, her vibe is just different. She's so lovely and knowledgable and has so many stories to share. I could go on for hours about how great she is but think you got to meet her to understand it. Already missing her and thinking of the next visit. 100/10 must try!
