My Guide was excellent, she showed me around the village, and explained the local flora and fauna. She adapted the itinerary to me and used her initiative. I was very interested in the different fruits and plants that grew, and the views were stunning. Highly recommend booking a guide, the tour around the traditional village was also interesting! My only comments were its very hot so make sure to take lots of water and wear a hat, and opt to start an earlier at 8am before the day gets too hot.

Honestly I think I was extremely lucky to have booked this trip with Rudy Trekker on Seek Sophie, it turned out to be an out of the world experience for me. I think November is a low season so the trip became like a private trip because I was the only trekker they had for a 2D1N crater rim hike package. My guide Dika was very profesional and attentive, I don't feel hurried in my hike, moreover, i'm not a seasoned hiker and absolutely did not train for this, I booked everything on a whim. So i was extremely grateful for Dika's patience and tolerance with my hiking speed. Then there's Adi, my porter. Words can't describe how incredible porters are. In addition to carrying loads that are insane heavy, hiking up the mountain, Adi prepared all these AMAZING MEALS along the hike.....which is mind blowing, it still feels surreal to me. This experience is so incredible that I have decided to join another hike next year! Till we meet again guys !

Wow wow wow wow, what an amazing experience was this! Rudy Trekker is definitely the 5* company and that makes such a huge difference. The climb is hard and it's so extremely convenient that they literally take care of EVERYTHING, so you only have to worry about putting your one foot before the other and keep on walking. I was extremely surprised by all the different food they gave us. It's like you are in a very good restaurant, but then on top of a mountain. Seriously incredible. Also a big shoutout to Kabul, Gigi and all other porters. They are true heroes. I can recommend everyone to book here!

An unforgettable Rinjani experience with Rudy Trekker! We recently completed a 4D3N expedition to climb Mt. Rinjani with Rudy Trekker, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide Bruno was exceptional — his deep knowledge of the mountain, calm leadership, and sense of humour made all the difference. It was clear from the very beginning that our safety and comfort were always his top priority, but he also made the trek fun, engaging, and memorable. Bruno’s experience really shone through, from pacing us perfectly on the steep climbs to sharing fascinating stories about the mountain and its surroundings. Our two porters were also outstanding, anticipating our needs and always ready with food, drinks, and smiles. The food on the mountain far exceeded our expectations — fresh, varied, and delicious, even at high altitude. Hot showers and cold towels were waiting for us after the trek, a very welcome surprise! Overall, Rudy Trekker delivered an experience that was not only professionally run and safe, but also warm, personal, and full of heart. We cannot recommend them — and especially Bruno — highly enough to anyone planning to climb Mt. Rinjani.

Wat top gefixt!!! Het ophalen overal op het eiland, tot het weg brengen. Daar aankomen was ook zo chill, een aanrader ga er vroeg heen kan je daar chillen aan het zwembad of in de Rinjani lodge tegenover (goed eten met bijzonder mooi uitzicht). Je benen hebben rust nodig. Onze gids was ook echt top, alle credits naar Dika en zijn porters! Zij hebben voor een onvergetelijke tour gezorgd. Diep diep respect voor hen!
