2 Best Tea Workshop in Vietnam in 2025

A great experience to discover Vietnamese tea and the culture surrounding tea in Vietnam. The workshop venue is remarkable in itself: a finely decorated tea room in a building that has retained its original character, allowing you to imagine the building's former importance. The explanations provided on tea were very comprehensive without being too complex, in a good atmosphere, etc. In the country of coffee, we had questions about a tea tasting... and yet we loved it, so much so that we went to the shop where the host buys tea to buy some of the teas tasted. Worth doing!

Lovely host and hostess. We chatted Vietnamese tea culture, wild 20m tall tea trees and the price of cars (4 billion!). The process of making the tea is an act of patience and love taking over a year to properly infuse. Contrary to Japanese tea ceremonies (a solemn ritual of strict decorum) or Chinese tea ceremonies (a measuring contest of clout through flowery pomp and circumstance), Vietnamese tea is meant to be shared and enjoyed together. Everything about this was just perfect! The tea house is a beautiful, serene space in the chaos of Hà Nội. I loved the guided meditation to settle you into the space, the smelling and tasting of the tea, finding out about how it is grown. And the tea lady, unfortunately I forgot her name, was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Can’t recommend this enough!
