We all read your email multiple times, and it really moved us. Notes like yours keep us going and remind us why we do what we do, especially because so much of this trip was built with a ton of love and care.

We created our Komodo Community Trips because we’ve been to Komodo over 25 times, and we wanted travellers to experience it the way we’ve come to love it - not just the beautiful islands, manta rays, pink beaches and dragons, but the people, stories and local heroes behind the place.

This trip took us around 6 months to plan and pull together, from finding the right boat and crew, to working with local conservationists, community projects, food makers and guides who care deeply about Komodo. So it really touches us to hear that the trip felt thoughtful, human and community-driven. That's exactly what we hoped it would be.

We’re so happy that Winna, Putri, Roy, Amir and the Navali crew made you feel so cared for. They all put so much heart into what they do, and we’ll definitely share your words with them.
