Highlights
The 2D1N Rinjani Crater Rim Climb is the best way to see the gorgeous views of Mount Rinjani in Lombok, but without the strain of the summit climb. It's still a challenging hike for beginner-intermediate hikers but much less difficult than the summit climb. This includes guide fees, meals, camping, equipment and one night accommodation before your climb at Rudy's Guesthouse, so that you'll be well rested before your climb! What makes this experience special is the expert guidance of your guide Rudy and his team, who are some of the best in Lombok. They really ensure visitors are well taken care of every step of the way. Rudy has some of the best guides in town, and every tiny detail is taken care of for you - from making sure you have the right equipment for the climb, to making sure you have some of the best food to eat even on the mountain! What to expectThe trek starts from Senaru village and takes visitors through lush forests and traditional Sasak villages. The highlight of the trek is an overnight stay at Sembalun Crater Rim, where visitors can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. On the second day of you trek, visitors can enjoy a beautiful sunrise over Segara Anak Lake before trekking back down to Senaru Village.About Senaru Crater Rim RouteThis is a moderate hike that doesn't take you to the summit of Mt Rinjani, but still allows you to enjoy its views at the beautiful crater rim. This hike starts in the town of Senaru on day 1 as you climb all the way to the Senaru Crater Rim. You will enjoy a sunset on the crater rim, sleep overnight, enjoy a sunrise, and then head down to Senaru on day 2.

About Your Host

Rudy Trekker
Rudy started out as a guide taking travellers up Mt Rinjani. Rudy was so good at it that, over the years, he has managed to build and train up a team of guides to have the same keen attention to customer service as he has. Rudy's team is one of the best at Mt Rinjani and they will take immaculate care of every detail of your trip - including providing a hot shower at the end of your trek before you head off to your next destination!
