This is a 2-hour creative paper marbling workshop in a lush rooftop garden. What's paper marbling, you ask? It's the art of creating beautiful patterns similar to smooth marble, using only paint, water, and paper. Suitable for kids aged 4 years and up, it's a great way to bring your family and friends to the outdoors, while creating garden-inspired works of art!An ancient paper craft that can be traced back to the 15th century in Venice, paper marbling was traditionally applied to book covers, end-paper and edges of books. At Studio Marbleous, you'll pursue the pleasure of freezing beautiful aqueous designs on paper, and get to take home your own personalised and framed works of art.This session will be conducted under a covered gazebo on The Sundowner rooftop, which is a cosy and lush green space, and also home to rescued bees (all safely tucked away in beehives). As a value-add The Unexpected offers on all its experiences, your hosts will take photos of your experience and share them with you are after, free-of-charge, so it's very Instagram-friendly too!Slots are available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2.30 - 4.30pm. You can even extend your fun day out by booking a Rooftop Farm Experience at The Sundowner after!
