Highlights
This takes a more remote route than most of the other options and requires some trekking ability. On the first day head to Ta Phin commune to Red Dao and Black H'mong villages, hike through forests and rice fields, and reach Phin Ho village for panoramic views and lunch. Hike downhill to Lu Khau village to see Red Dao and Blue H'mong village with salmon farm and then overnight at homestay with the Red Dao People. On the second day, trek through Suoi Thau, Gia Thau and Kim Ngan villages and have a picnic lunch. This trek is of medium-to-hard difficulty and covers 25km in total.

About Your Host

Sapa O'Chau Travel Social Enterprise
Sapa O’Chau is an award-winning social enterprise who apart from organising authentic treks, also trains local youth in the hospitality industry. If that wasn’t impressive enough, this enterprise is led by Shu Tan, a local female entrepreneur who was awarded the 2019 Asia’s Woman Leaders Award.
