Highlights
  • Private, authentic trek led by a social enterprise.
  • Picnic lunch with locals in Kim Ngan village.
  • Opportunity to support local youth with every booking.
  • This takes a more remote route than most of the other options and requires some trekking ability. On the first day head to Ta Phin commune to Red Dao and Black H'mong villages, hike through forests and rice fields, and reach Phin Ho village for panoramic views and lunch. Hike downhill to Lu Khau village to see Red Dao and Blue H'mong village with salmon farm and then overnight at homestay with the Red Dao People. On the second day, trek through Suoi Thau, Gia Thau and Kim Ngan villages and have a picnic lunch. This trek is of medium-to-hard difficulty and covers 25km in total.
