If you want to experience Kinabatangan without roughing it, this lodge is a great-value choice. Set right on the riverbank, it offers easy access to wildlife cruises while giving you a comfortable place to return to after each outing. You’ll head out by boat with experienced local guides to look for proboscis monkeys, orangutans, hornbills and, if you’re lucky, pygmy elephants. Then you’re back to a proper bed, air-conditioned room and hearty meals - no camping, no basic jungle huts.This is ideal for travellers who want strong wildlife chances but still value comfort.
